The other day my daughter Adria, my brother and l were at the store.
We went to the cash register to pay....she wanted to use her allowance for a toy, and we were picking up burgers for a BBQ.
I told her to give the money to her uncle to pay for it all at once. ( so we could pay for ours and she paid for her toy.)
Not getting what l meant,...she stared at me..and said....."l'm not paying for those burgers."
She proceeded to put one of those black dividers between the burgers and her toy.
The cashier, my bro and l started laughing so hard, that everyone started staring.
I wasnt sure if l should have been proud that it was so funny,....or upset from her selfishness.
Okay....l laughed, and we explained it her.
She then offered to pay for the burgers.
Not yet,but someday maybe when God restores everything,then perhaps I may be able to pet and hug one then.
