There isn't much I can't make, honestly. There are things I WON'T make because of my own reasons...

Anyway, day X on dumb headache. I really do NEED to get in for a massage, my shoulders are wont to take me out of commission it seems.

Anyway part 2, Daniel, I hope you and your sister/'s family can reconcile. It's far too short a life to not have healing relationships. God bless, Brother!

Ah, but think of how much time that cherry cream slush will translate onto the treadmill... (This is coming from someone who got her workout out of the way this morning! :))

So I wanted to say something about a comment I read in another thread in another forum on here, just because I don't like getting off topic when people's pain is involved.

FYI, if someone is potentially, or high likely to end up going through a divorce, do not ever tell them to just "get over it". Don't tell them it's done and they just need to move on and forget it. It is far from that simple, as anyone who has actually been there will tell you. Not to mention that is the single most uncaring, and disrespectful piece of advice you can give them. If you've never dealt with it, keep your mouth shut! And if the person who made the comment I am referring to is reading this and doesn't know who I am talking about, I weep for the potential damage that could be inflicted now or in the future with their "help".

Well said, zaoman. It really bothers me when someone says that or they use profanity in their post

I am having such a difficult time with interfacing with people today. What is it about certain days? Why do we have moods and why do they fluctuate?

Haha, I was reading this thread backwards and saw this post. I was like "girl friend smores! Olerica's gonna make some and share them in the women's forum, yay!"

XD

Hehe, gluten-free smores are good too, though =D!

So, yeah, I logged in just to say that :).

WHY is this such a hard decision. Running into financial issues. AGAIN. Most likely, I'll only be able to do a year of college, and even at that, there's going to be mounds of debt surrounding that one year. I've tried to get outside scholarships before, but they do not work. The chances of getting outside help is little to none. As much as I want to, being a dietitian or any sort of medical thing (besides nursing, which I will not do.) doesn't look to be in my future.

GF S'mores... girl friend or gluten-free, either way, I'll make 'em.

Maybe we all need big squishy hugs and s'mores. And maybe some human kindness. Perhaps a dash of compassion and a scoop of grace. Maybe.

Yeah, we are finding the same thing... college is expensive! Can you take your general studies (or all of it) at a community college, or do on-line classes? Also check into grants and work-study programs.

I might do general ed at a community college. I'm not sure. I wish I could see all the possible outcomes, but I can't. It's driving me insane. Work-study doesn't do a whole lot from what I've been told. It's not the recommended route. Grants, I've never been able to find any that fit my criteria. And soon enough, when dad gets married, we'll make too much money for any sort of aid. Because parents are expected to help. America is crazy when it comes to college and tuition and financial aid. It's hair pulling stressful.
