Got back from my whirlwind trip to Cleveland. Had a great visit with my daughter and met her boyfriend. He is actually a pretty neat guy. Kind of nerdy, like she is...he is kind of awkward and doesn't seem to realize that he is a really good looking guy. Sometimes they bickered like an old married couple over stupid stuff, like which block "Melt" was on. He backed off and apologized now and then, even when he was right. I think he is nicer to her than she is to him. I have no idea how serious they are.

I knew I had many hours to kill, so I schlepped hoss's stained glass piece to his place, missing him by about 45 minutes. He came really close to being the second CC-er I would meet in person. At the airport, my flight got delayed to the point that I would have missed my connection, so they booked a nonstop for this morning and I stayed in town another night. Just drove back from the SF airport and get to relax a bit. Back to work tomorrow!

I also like the recent influx of wolves/canines around this environment. It makes me feel more like I'm in my natural habitat.

...Or they're dudes older than dirt trying to pretend they're a teenage girl's age. Or the other way around. lol

I joined when I was 13, and I had no issue with saying that I was 13. Then again...I wasn't being all weird and stuff. I actually didn't really wander into the forums because I didn't understand how they worked until I was like...15. Then I did my fair share of the Bible Debating - *cough* I mean DISCUSSION Forum. After I wore that out (which was about at 16) I realized arguing with people on the internet is quite silly. So I decided this forum was much nicer and I noticed people had a lot more fun in this area than all the other ones. The Teens forum...is not even very teen-friendly. o.O It's mostly, "I look at porn, should I tell my parents?" "I think I'm gay" "My girlfriend is cheating on me, should I stay with her?" and way more than that.
Well, they are things that I guess teens can go through. But I never went through those things, some of the things that were talked about in that forum I had no idea about until I came across them in the forums. Ignorance...is not bliss. Ignorance just makes things more shocking when you learn about things. That's all I'm going to say on that.

Anyways. I just rambled a lot. I should probably erase it all. But I'm going to keep it. Just because.
 
What a long day today. My sister and her husband have been back for only a day and already they're stressing me out again. As I predicted, they're NOT happy with Dad's plans for the future. They fought about that. And they weren't happy about the fact that my dad, sister and I went grocery shopping and got better foods that we could eat for the next few weeks (without breaking the bank, too) and didn't get "their" food (aka junk) though there was still money left for them to get some of their things. They fought about that, too. They also tore into my other sister pretty good about it this morning when I was starting to wake up. I felt really bad for her, and I thought about getting up right then and there, stumbling around like the sleepy person I was and telling them why we got what we got, because their arguments that they got us things to eat was invalid. But alas...I am NOT a morning person, and I'm not the kind of person that likes to talk in the morning. So I would have swung some verbal punches that wouldn't have been necessary. And then...I was looking into potential locations to where we're going to move next. It's such a delicate balance. It's going to take a miracle to pull it off, almost, but I think that God willing, once we find a place and settle in, it will ALL be worth it. But for now...all of the day's stresses and events have just given me one big whopping headache and it's almost 2 am so I should really sleep.

Maybe I should get an old shoe box, cut a hole in the lid, get a notepad, and label the box as "complaints." and if people wanna complain about stuff, they can write about it and put it in the box, because I'm tired of hearing complaining all the livelong day.

i must admit, that i love spring. the daffodils, the hyacinths, the tulips, oh my!

something in the beauty of spring reminds me of how all things are new and fresh, and that His mercies are new every morning. no matter how far off, how badly, how deeply we've fallen away from our path and our place, we can always start new, like a blank page without mistakes.

no matter where you are... i pray that your spring is a joyful one, and i thank you all for being a blessing to me. : )

anyway... one of my very favorite songs is great is thy faithfulness, and it seemed too appropriate... and has been on my mind today. i stumbled across this great version, and i thought i'd share it.
