The world needs more cmariehs! As much as I esteem everything to Him and am grateful for every day (even Mondays), today is going to be a tough one. Minimal sleep and a lot of work came in today. Always up for a challenge, I suppose.
In agreement brother! She is so sweet,..yet such a level headed young women in Christ! :)

Aren't you sweet:). But I have been told that I am different than other women. I too, only got about four hours of sleep last night and I have been busy at work too, compared to usual. I love challenges.

I don't like the phrase "God only gives you as much as He knows you can handle."

I don't think it's Biblical, and I don't think it's true.

I have been given many things in my life that I could not handle. I can think of many things that could happen in the future that I know I would not be able to handle. At all.

If I could handle everything, why would I need to run to God? Why would I need to give Him any of that burden if He's only giving me what I can carry on my own?

I agree with you, It's not biblical, but is a mis-took from 1 Corinthians 10:13 where it says that God will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear----that he will provide a way out------ BUT the verse I suppose you could go to for encouragement could be Is John 16:33, where Jesus says, "In this world there will be trouble, but take heart! I have overcome the world."-- which just goes to show that when there is trouble, we can lean on Him.

Heyyyy Bible reader! How ya been? :)
hi skylove7

I could lie and say "great" LOL

Truth is, I spoke to my sister two days in a row, her crying on the phone to me about a situation. Sigh. I just wish I could fix it. I did pray over the phone with her.

In better news, I am reading the book of Isaiah right now, very powerful stuff.
