Happy In Reverse Christmas!

(thursday we celebrate that Jesus went back to heaven again)

g'morning, Jenna. :)

you know...it's always Christmas (and always Resurrection Sunday :D)

poor Tintin lives where it's unpleasantly warm at Christmas.
and you know what the northern hemisphere has done with its music.

Yes, a White Christmas, indeed! :P

LOL :)

based on some of his posts last Christmastime, not sure Tintin will agree with that. haha

True, mum! Sometimes it's really hot at Christmastime. Sometimes we're lucky and it's pleasant. Once or twice it's even been a little cool. Christmas is weird here.

weelll...it's never hot here at Christmas. but it may be warm enough for just a sweater outdoors,
or there may be 3 feet of snow. (*like* lol)

last year was the former, thank God, because my mom was here from southern
North Carolina, and though she lived the majority of her life above the 42nd parallel (N),
she has quite a bit to say about cold weather these days.

sigh...mothers.
i know my kiddos say that, too. it's the circle of life, or something.

Oh well, sounds like none of yall knows how Christmas is like above the 69th parallel (N...for those unsure...lol)...
Where was I? Oh! Yes. Christmas in the Arctic...cold (down to -20F) goes without saying...but add darkness 24(allmost)/7 for months and harsh winds...and youll get an idea...and Ellie, I think yo mama woulda said alot about the weather here:p

Gosh, it's may 11th, enough with the xmas talk already... :p

[my exams start today, can't wait for summer]

haha!

when the kids were here yesterday, our son-in-law said our grandson
wakes when the sun comes up; sleeps when the sun goes down
.
i said, me, too, and that's why i like winter. :)

(but that much darkness? you're my hero!)

How far north are you Jennymae? I was struggling enough just south of the arctic circle.
*hates prolonged darkness*

And where y'at, honey, if you dont mind me asking? Those flags are confusing me, one of them looks like the Alabama State Flag only the colors are all wrong;)...I'm familiar with the Norwegian Flag, tho.

But, I'm forgetting, silly me, right now and for the next months we'll be having White Nights here...and...they are real white, like cotton fields...no more nights at sight...
