I mean I thought The Shining was great, but The Stand is in a league of its own.
I sincerely hope too that you've traveled some in the States, because knowing all the regions mentioned in the book merely adds to the experience. Visualizing the events is so easy and powerful.

But maybe some have. I taught English by myself really. Maybe this explains why I get into "debates" with people. (Shall remain nameless).

You weren't taught English in school? Interesting. So you taught yourself English? That's impressive. It's a surprisingly difficult language, a weird hybrid of many different cultures - French, Anglo-Saxon, Germanic, Latin and a whole host of different countries.
Yes, I hear you about the Christian scene in Norway. It's not always good news, but Jesus is always good news. And I'm sure there are many good things going on in God's name there. Keep living for the King of Kings.
