Spent about 5 hours at the pool with daughter and a pool full of children and mom's......It was noisy and fun - wet and cool....water pistols and cannonballs.....I have been drained by the sun, have beautiful flowers on the table thanks to my Melisa and Chinese food in my belly again daughter's treat....I am tired and headed off to bed to read....What can I say? I'm an old lady.....lol

I am not really into huge parties. A few years back my mom had a tendency of saying that it was my birthday and they gave me a huge hat that I had to wear throughout that whole night, it was embarrassing. I am more into a nice quiet dinner at home and depending on the day I suppose I could handle going out to eat as long as its with people that I love. I am not a fan of sushi.
 
speaking of parties, when i was a youth leader, the group really tried to throw me a surprise party. but a parent managed to tell me by accident lol

also, when i arrived at the house, and as i approached the door, i heard people say, "quiet!! quiet! she's coming!" lol i appreciated it tho :)

Does anyone know what that pasta is called,....I think its Chinese...but I saw it on t.v. once...you toss it in boiling water and it fluffs up instantly! Its sooo cute! I want to watch someone cook that in person! Lol..I'm easily entertained haha! :)
 
Is it pasta even? Lol...I dunno but I want to watch someone cook that! teehee.....and I shall say "Weeee do it again!" Then I would be left with to much pasta...just for the entertainment show! Lol...sighs...where is my mind now! Lol

the kids said, Mom! your boyfriend texted you!

i had to remind them i asked for a "Boyfriend for Christmas"...Mark said no. :mad:
