Hey everyone! I must share...I just got home. I attended a new church this morning. My daughter went too it was lovely. My daughter insisted we match...so we both wore our mint green and lace spring dresses in our closet. I new when I walked in...I would feel u know the newbie stares from people that I find terrifying at first lol...and yes they did stare because I'm a new face. But God was truly holding my hand...for after a moment They all smiled and embraced me withnhugs and kindness.
The pastor was very nice. He seems to have a true passion for Christ.
His sermon was of John 15:13....sigh...it must had been destiny I went today because that verse is one deeply embedded in my heart. Sorry to write a long post friends...I feel so peaceful inside I had to share. I'm so happy that I didn't let shyness stop me from attending a new church. I get my daughter home today...morrow lol she will be doing her thing again...but she calls our time at church...new memories for our hearts. I'm very content...for love I soar today...even if I was crawling! :). Love everyone! Have a beautiful day
 
skylove7, may I ask why you decided upon a new church? did you have a problem with your previous church? X
 
[SUP][/SUP]Well yes...ugh...two reasons really...the first ud not like to hear...but I'm honest. I always went alone...and there was an older man with very ghastly breath...and a dirty mind that would always hit on me during sermons...but I can handle a creep, that wasn't the only issue. They changed pastors to one who didn't like KJV...which I do...and instead of verbally giving us his sermons from his heart...he did everything slide show presentation...our new pastor didn't express his heart at all...sighs...plus a dirty old creep there...skylove had to go bee byes! Lol...but I'm praying to not be shy....lol....its funny about me. Id not fear to whip the devil...lol...yet I fear shyness when new people look at me. Its silly really. I love you madparrotwoman. How are you my dearest English rose? :)

Thank you skylove, I'm good thank you and I love you too.

I'm not surprised you left that church but you know God will often bring about the circumstances for you to grow spiritually. Sometimes we need a push to take us to the next level and this church might be just what you need. You know I sometimes think about changing my church too, there are aspects of my church I'm not always comfortable with - I guess this is the reason I asked. No creepy men to contend with though praise The Lord! :)

Its sad really...that just because its church...doesn't mean they all have Christian hearts. My grandmother used to say " Remember...the devil can walk in a church just as easy as a Saint can...for this is earth...and the devil delights in mocking our Lord.". I don't liked the area that I live....but long as I go to a church, library or coffee shops...lol...I will be better for it! Lol...Its just appaling at times how....even single women can't escape the devilish intentions of some. Even in a church. I love you madparrotwoman. You're beautiful to my heart! In my prayers dearest!
 
Good morning everyone! And a Happy Mother's Day to all the moms!

Thank you for your prayers. I am feeling a bit better and more positive. I am able to walk a bit on crutches, and tomorrow, hopefully I can get the right knee aspirated of fluid, and get a cortisone shot. And hopefully, finally start on some new meds for this dreadful disease.

Glad you liked your new church, Skylove - I hope it goes well for you there. We missed church again. Hubby is too sick with his cold and I didn't want to go in a wheelchair. And too far to walk from the parking lot to the sanctuary with crutches. So I am going to have a nice devotional time by myself - although I miss worshipping with God's people.

Not much food going on today in this thread! I'm trying to get hubby to take me out for dinner, but I think he might be too sick to enjoy it. Well, he has to cook if doesn't take me out! That's my story and I"m sticking to it!

Oh! I love you Ang! I'm praying for you too. You are beautiful to my heart! This world is so tainted with evils and unholiness. Sometimes the most beautiful suffer worst. I hope when I die...God will let me get my hands on the devil, to make him pay for this! Not sure if God would need me too...because the devil is going to be destroyed anyway. But I have asked God to let me get a go at him, since I was little anyway! Yesss! Lol...

Hmmmm...curious uh hee hee! Now if I befriended a wood borer bee? Then my house would be holey right? Not Holy....no of course not! But in fact...holey? Yes?....haha...better not befriend a wood borer bee today. Noooo...never will I do that! HeeHee...bad idea! Smile!
