My kids wants an iPhone 6...each...some of their friends allready gotten one...it is getting harder and harder by the day saying no...sigh...what are parents thinking whenever theyre giving their 10 year old's an iPhone 6?
 
I just tell my kids I have the iPhone 12 on pre-order now...that way they feel like they have something their friends haven't got yet and I don't have to fork over the money yet...God said be wise....smile.

Please say a prayer for my friend Gary and his terminally ill wife Marlene, who has taken a turn for the worse. She's a young 53 yrs. old and has been battling cancer in her brain. Not looking good this past day or so ... and Gary is a crushed man. Utterly exhausted, both physically and emotionally he is right now. He's been a most loving husband to her taking on the role of being her caretaker at home this past year and a half ... feeding her, bathing her etc. etc. Finishing up my coffee and heading out to check up on him at his home. He was weeping on the phone last night with me for a good hour late into the evening. May our Father and God of love and mercy use this tragedy to draw my friend into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ, Who is able to do far more for us than we could ever ask. Thank you my friends and God bless.

Gracious Lord in Heaven, please make Gary's wife make it through this and bring both him and his wife Your comfort. Amen.
 
For keepitsimple. God we pray....for Gary's wife Marlene. Heal her now, with all your love, ease her pain. Hold her dearly in your Holy light precious Jesus so that Marlene is at peace, for You love Marlene so strong. You are with her and Gary in this time they both need you. Their true love is a gift and blessing from you God. May they be at peace in the strengthening light of their love now. Ease her pain. Thank You Jesus. Amen

Amen! 10 years old is a young age to have an iPhone 6, which costs around $650. My son recently purchased one but he is 26. I recently bought a new cell phone but settled for the Samsung Galaxy Avant, which was only around $200 and in my opinion, is still a very nice phone. I just can't see paying $650 for a cell phone and especially buying it for a 10 year old, but that's just me. :p
