I ask again of all the Catholics, "In what or in whom will you trust for your eternal destiny"?

Do you trust the Catholic Church or do you trust Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit?

Knowing the Catholics they will not answer it because they do not want us to see they are following a church and not God.

I am a Catholic and I trust the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Seeing how I answered your question your last sentence of your post is no longer true. It never was.

And the answer is the same every time you ask it, because unlike your evangelist cult, doctrine does not change.

From the catechism.
1817 Hope is the theological virtue by which we desire the kingdom of heaven and eternal life as our happiness, placing our trust in Christ's promises and relying not on our own strength, but on the help of the grace of the Holy Spirit. "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. The Holy Spirit . . . he poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that we might be justified by his grace and become heirs in hope of eternal life

It is shameful you have had the temerity to criticise catholicism whilst still knowing nothing about it, and even worse you repeat it knowing the answer. You never were a catholic, despite the claim.

yes, no matter what you say. i don't think you are an example of a Christian
Does not change or relieve you of your obligation to receive Christ as your personal Savior. It is obvious that you are very religious but that is not a measure of the certainty one needs to know they have eternal life in Christ.

The bible relates an incident where Paul is told that some are preaching Christ in order to shame the disciples but Paul answers that if Christ is preached in animosity or in love He is preached and that is of God not man. Philippians chapter 1 verse 18 or so.

You continue to misuse the scripture, Romans 3:23. You have to go back to verse 19 to get the context. St. Paul is talking about the Law and those who follow it, which of course is the Old Testament
So does that mean that you're not a sinner and you do not require the blood of Christ as atonement for your sins? You will find that the first three chapters of Romans is a very comprehensive condemnation of mankind from Gods perspective of perfect righteousness.

OT or NT all men from Adam are sinners and require atonement for their sin and grace for eternal life. Not obtained by works but by Gods mercy.

heresy does not change.

this site you're on recognizes that without any possibility for change.

.....

So for the record, Catholicism is heresy. ....

Mary WAS A SINNER.

She needed a savior, just like you and me........
This is preaching to the choir for most people here. But it regularly happens that we start to accumulate Catholics here who really promote and argue their Catholicism, along with all the heresy.

So for the record, if anyone wants or needs to hear it, we don't agree with Catholic heresy. And yes it is heresy ......../

So what of this is heresy? - I suggest you withdraw that statement .

We put our faith in Christ, you seemingly put your faith and authority in the website admins, or so you keep saying.
Now that is idolatry that I am certain the admins do not want!

the site your on, agree with SCRIPTURE - you are in heresy.

the 1 billion are in heresy, and have been lost souls because of it. few of them will ever be saved.

the WORD OF GOD , written, does not allow opinion. it is sure and true. and you and 1 billion are totally wrong,
just like the heresy has been totally wrong ALWAYS..... never, never, never right according to the WORD OF GOD...

all of those abiding in JESUS agree. rcc is heresy.

if you trust and obey JESUS, you do not trust and obey the pope.

if you trust the pope, you cannot be a friend of GOD. it is written. no opinions involved except GOD'S.

This is your opinion, not mine or the over 1billion Catholics worldwide

In my church there are lots of people who have come out of catholicism. The reason is simple. The church seems incapable of teaching faith in Jesus for salvation separate from all the other distractions. No salvation is in being a good catholic, doing all the ceremonies, saying your prayers, going to mass etc. taking the sacrements. It is the ultimate empty esthetic lifestyle which leads to nothing. The relatives of one friend have no spiritual understanding, which indicates the emptiness of the whole structure.

A typical church discussion is why do we believe in the trinity? Oh that is just a mystery you have to accept by faith. The idea of spiritual growth, or inspiration is just not part of the group, even if you were a priest.

One local priest was simply not allowed to preach to his congregation other than the dictated 10 minute talk each mass.

The number of incidents of formal behaviour performing cerimonies without any faith being present is all too often repeated.
Now to those who hear the words of the mass, the words of some of the songs there is much truth here, but not because it is applied, but because it is nice to repeat it without putting it into action.

you keep lying. why?

the ADMINS ALL SAY RCC IS HERESY.

YAHWEH said it first, before rcc ever started.

Scripture verifies it totally.

JESUS helped me when i could not help myself. TRUST JESUS and you cannot ever trust the pope.

trust the pope, and you deny JESUS.

that is heresy/ fatal error - trusting in the pope or any other religion.

......
Now that is idolatry that I am certain the admins do not want!

You are not an admin. I know many of the mods here. They have been welcoming and kind. They have been fair and just. If you notice, you don't see them here cheering you on. Because...again...you are not a mod, an admin, or anything but another user of the website as am I.

i would be willing to wager that these ppl did not venture to understand the Mass. Unfortunately many Catholics are like this. When they come to an emotion driven "service" instead of a God centered service, the Mass, they might think this is right. But these services serve man, not God

I love Our Lord with all my heart. I try to serve Him daily and i fall short. If this makes me a heretic then that's your problem. i am not a saint and i don't know any saints except for the ones i read about. Only Our Lord can judge me and i pray for mercy on that day!!!!! Some of you seem to have declared youselves saintss and i know, just like St. Peter,i am not worthy
