Has anybody seen SoulWeaver or Mitspa on here recently? They've been MIA lately..

I don't know about Mitspa, but SoulWeaver cut off PM's a few weeks ago. I was still her friend, but I could not PM her to tell her that I was missing her posts.

So, just in case she is reading this, I miss her, pray for her and I hope she is ok, across the ocean.

Blue, I just checked Soulweavers profile. It seems the last time she posted was a week ago. I best check in on her and make sure our sis is ok.

yeah she's been gone for at least a week or so. Mitspa's been gone for 2 or 3 weeks now..

Someone told me THIS is the Canadian mode of transport. :)

I remember working at a gas station during my highschool years. I live in a border city ... and I recall some folks stopping to fill up that had just crossed the border (summertime) ... and wanted to know where the closest skiing lodge was ? I felt horrible for them ... cause it was somewhere in Alaska :(

I remember being at a border crossing in August, and seeing a car full of Americans and snow shoes on the top of the car. They were all overdressed for the 30+ C weather, and I think they were a bit stunned that the snow line did not start right at the Canadian border.

In August, the snow line is above 3000 meters in Canada.

Go look up the metric references on your own. LOL
