Well, my week started off with a bang. LOL! My son convinced me to try this Living Clay that's a body detox. It's supposed to rid you of yucky stuff in your liver & other organs and rejuvenate you. What the hey, I thought I'd try it. It tastes like unsweetened almond milk so that's a plus. I know it takes your body at least a few days to detox and you can get flu-type symptoms while your body is cleansing. And that's what I'm going through right now. General icky-ness.

But it's my 2nd day so I'm counting on feeling better tomorrow. YAY.
I hope you get to feeling better soon Violet.

I was just teasing you. (I saw your country flag and knew you weren't from the US) :)
My clumsiness, at writing, tells much more than a cover up.

PS

By the way, I thought U were kidding with your birthday or another important date.

That's world wide known. :p

Update on my request for prayer. God has answered the prayers. I am back to being calmer and at peace. :)

Just more of a sadness at this point. :(

How do you tell them? Write down what you want to say. Read it, edit it, re-write it till you feel confident about it. Put yourself in the position of receiving that message and if it sounds good, tell them exactly like that.

If they can't understand you having another job, they're out of their minds. Who can live off of a few hours of work here and there? So no matter how you tell them, it's not unreasonable that you'd have another job. Ya know?

Also, congratulations again on that new job. I hope you like it. Grace of Jesus to you, brother! :)
I work maintenance for a plaza. I never thought I'd do something like that, but it's 30 hours a week and the supervisor is a strong Christian himself. It shows how God really knows more than we do. With it I'll be able to pay off my tuition in June, finally have my diploma mailed to me after a year wait because of the unpaid tuition, and start saving to do grad school online by next spring hopefully.

This verse just came to mind

Isaiah 26

[SUP]3 [/SUP]You will keep in perfect peace
those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in you.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Trust in the Lord forever,
for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.

I dont wanna be a downer but having Jesus first in my life I can only turn to my family. About ten years ago one of my best friends was killed in a car accident. I found out Today that his dad, who was also a very good friend, commited suicide at the spot where my friend was killed. I really need all of your prayers as i didnt expect this news to hit me so hard. He was the last person i would have expected to do this. And to answer your questions...No neither of them were Christians. He is survived by his ex wife and his daughter, son in law and his grandson. Yeah I know you dont usually add a son in law as a next of kin but that is the way he would have stated it. A very well respected man in many communities because he gave respect thus earning respect from everyone who met him.

Father, whatever the season, be it sadness or joy, please keep our eyes on the Lord Jesus.
thank You for the Holy Spirit who comforts us an any affliction.
help us to be patient, knowing we see only in part what You alone see in totality.
thank You for hearts that love you. may Your people offer a sacrifice of praise,
for Jesus' sake, amen.
