Well, where I am at we have mice, especially during the summer months. My cats can sure kill the mice left and right. The only problem with that is they leave the mice on our front porch to show it off. It is so darn cute, but disgusting. One time a few years back we had a cat put a dead mouse in my moms purse. It was hilarious!! Well, mainly because it wasn't me:eek: I know that sounds horrible
Awww...I would have been screaming for three days...

The last thing you want to do is kill snakes. They kill way more rats than cats ever do.
Lol, why you be saying logical stuff now? I go all crazy when theres a snake around:eek:;)

Lets just say that she was a little paranoid for a few days afterward with the cat sticking something in her purse. And the cat's name was Stinker too. He kind of got that name on the way home from when we got him. He was a cute little kitten though.

Good morning friends.

Good Morning everyone. I often get random thoughts in my head ... and this was popped into my head as I was putting on my makeup this morning. I remembered how I did my makeup when I was a teenager. I cringe at the thought nowadays. I remember using the most ORANGEST (is that a word?) foundation on my face ... often leaving marks under my jawline, and thick pink blush up my cheeks. Then I would plaster on the brightest blue eyeshadow known to mankind! On went the black mascara and I would curl my eyelashes with one of those eyelash curler thingies ... and then would put the finishing product on ... the reddest lipstick I could find! Oh emmm geee I have pictures that I look at now and get sick to my stomach. Ooompa Loompa comes to mind. How pretty I was! HAHAHAHAHA

A pity you didn't know oldhermit back then. He could've showed you how to look marvelous with very little effort :)

Stinker sounds a bit like my brother (the 11 year edition, though), I think I can blame my fear of snakes on him...

That doesn't help, does it? It was funny the night we first got him was on the 4th of July so we couldn't get cat litter or anything, so what did he use for the cat litter, he used a box lined with a plastic bag as his cat litter. Goofy cat:rolleyes:

Have you ever gotten to know a snake... up close and personal? They are really adorable. I hung around at our museum when I was in Elementary School, and I was a member of the Junior Herpetology Club. Some of the best days of my young life.

I can agree with both of you. It was a really late night for me too. I was trying to comprehend my computer homework and the time I was finally able to understand it was about seven and it was due in less that four hours. It was really frustrating, but at least I got it done and turned in on time. I was even able to squeeze in a shower at midnight, so I wasn't able to actually fall asleep until about one this morning. I want to climb back in bed and catch some more Z's, but I have to be at work in less than two hours. Hopefully, I don't fall asleep there and get off early so I can take a nap.
What was the computer homework on? Don't fall asleep in class....it never ends well...

Microsoft Excel. I don't have to be in class today so I can go ahead and work some more hours this morning so I can get home earlier. However, that brings up a good and funny story from middle school. We had a kid in history class that would always fall asleep and one time the teacher told us to quietly exit the classroom and go outside by the windows and some of my classmates started pounding on the windows and he flipped out. It was hilarious.

I saw someone try to get rid of a snake, the wrong way....he grabbed it by the tail and launched it right before it bit him.....it landed on this woman and her daughter......he was related to them and in the doghouse for a while...

I had a class on excel my second semester of college....If I can help in anyway on understanding it, let me know.....the teacher may have even accidentally taught us how to hack....I will never use that info though
There was a kid in my highschool math class who slept with his eyes open.....the teacher thought when he didn't answer a question, it was because he didn't know the answer....then he started snoring and the teacher figured it out.....

I don't mind a snake if it's in its own environment space but if it comes in mine, that's another story.

Oh, I've picked up a few snakes, mice, frogs, toads, turtles, and worms in my day. I still do, if they're small. However, anything dead gets the stick poking treatment.

Did you watch the movie "Snakes on a Plane" before you went to bed last night? :p
Has anyone ever tried to secretly mail a snake that got out on you? :p
How many mail trucks have you destroyed because of seeing a snake in the vehicle with you?
