I've read where some states might make or had made it illegal to walk and text at the same time.

It can put people in unnecessary danger.

We've been bumped many a times in the Mall by kids on their phones either texting or just talking. They don't care. I can hear my husband shouting in his irritation, "Excuse you!".

Hopefully if I vent about this it will go away. I keep singing songs from Wizard of Oz and I highly dislike that movie. I haven't even seen it in over eight years.

Or a clean conscious if we're people involved in addiction and still hang around with certain people from our past life.

If we're weak, and new to the Walk, we could very well fall back into old flesh habits.

Addictions come in a variety. For me, it was having to break off with an old boyfriend.

I wanted God and he did not. He even threaten to punch God if he were a man. (Ha! Human reasoning.)

Even though I was professing Christ, it took a while to understand I could not keep things from my old life.

At that point someone watching might think I was hypocritical as if I had one foot in the world and one foot in God but it was just a process of God purging what was not healthy for my new Walk.
