I know!...I'm going too as soon as I can! Lol...I miss sewing...its been awhile. I made little dress up veils for girls to play with...nieces in the family when they came over,..like gold sequence, and lace. I'd play dress up with them too...just for laughs! They are too old now. Lol...so many unfinished crafts in my closet. I need to work on some things soon.
Oh I know that tune. I have an unfinished cross stitch I should get done possibly before I die someday.
And of course, there are those projects in the back of mind that I just can't seem to get started. I've cut the fabric but they just sit there waiting.
Are we in the same boat?

I can sew quilts, pillows and veils etc...like little girls princess dress up things...but I can't sew clothing! Lol..unless I could interest you in a pair of three legged pants for Mark? Now that I can do! Lol...I used to sketch ladies fashions in my thirties...just for fun as a hobby! But sewing clothes um...Lol..I best stick to quilting! Loldo you sew, too?
for me it was a tl;dr kinda thing.
but i can sew a button back on. and do a pretty bad job of hemming pants.

our daughter Hannah, when she was 17, took an old sheet and without a pattern or anything,
hand sewed herself a pair of pants! what amazed me most was they held up under washing for almost a year.
tiny, tiny, perfect little stitches. do you need young eyes for that?
i'd love to sew quilts for the grandbabies. sigh.

FC, i used to do needlepoint and counted cross stitch many moons ago.
pretty sure the unfinished things are still in a bin in the attic.

It's quite sad to think Conservatives, and especially conservative Christians, are demonized with a label of hating immigration when all we do is disagree with the method of coming to America illegally. Immigration is a good thing for the country if they come through the right channels and have something to offer our society such as a good skill. But when I see our own government coming against its own people for upholding the federal laws that the government should have already been enforcing, then I have to wonder how can we overcome such a thing? Are we losing our country?
My only hope is knowing God has a plan. So I just keep praying and waiting on His timing.
Unfortunately it's the same in Canada. Tons of ppl coming to live in Canada for 'a better life'. Unfortunately a lot of times they are taking Canadian's jobs away from them, and then they (the women) complain that they should be allowed to wear their head and face scarf at all times, even for pictures for health cards, license pictures, etc. But! We as Canadians cannot even wear a hat or anything when we get our pictures taken for the same things ... passports, etc. Are we losing our Country? I'd say yes. Canada: The true north strong and Free. EGAD
That is impressive.....In 6th grade I made myself a pillow shaped like a soccerball lol...I prefer sewing by hand, I helped my mother make dresses for my niece. I have no clue how to even make pants, that would have been cool.
