Geometry was the high school class I literally cried over. I understood and did quite well in Algebra but just could not grasp Geometry, many tear stained papers I turned in to get a bad mark on and finished the class with a D that I was thankful for. I could see the answer but I could not tell you how to get there. Now as an adult I have thought about could I learn it now or not? Maybe if I had a different teacher, but I sure did not get it in high school and for the most part was an honor roll student.

The only other D I got in high school was because of messing around in physical education class being a naughty teenager....but that was not my final grade like it was in Geometry....

Many people were like that with geometry...I was just taught it all from a young age, so it all came natural to me....My one sister taught me what she had learned and gave me the books to read so I could help her with her homework....she basically trained me to do her work for her and show her how to do it so she wouldn't fail, but wouldn't have to read it all because her reading comprehension wasn't the best...she got into an argument with a highschool math teacher, who went to church with our family, once apparently ....he asked her how she got her answer and she told him that I showed her how to do it...he said the book was right because she shouldn't be listening to a 3 year old on highschool math....he ended up proving the book wrong...lol
the teachers learned that they should not have told her that her little brother could help her with her homework....I wanted to do everything she did....and she gave me all her books to read....3 year old reading highschool books...she taught me well..."here Kody, read this and explain it to me"

The class I struggled with was penmanship....

The last 17 are mine now.....with an item of food written on each one....If it gets smoked Blond goes without food item until she looses 50 pounds....He quite smoking when it started affecting Blond.....Praying the last 17 never get smoked....I am so proud of my hubby he is a great left brain as that comedian Robertson calls her hubby....lol

You are not a smoker are you? Reborn.....let me tell you the evils of smoking...... I was left motherless and found her dead at the age of 8...... Doctor had told her to change her lifestyle or she would not live to raise her daughter... she did not.... 4 years later my dad is dying in the hospital from......you guessed it lung cancer and at the age of 12 I am an orphan cause.....Cigarettes!!!! This is not a good option with the Blond and I NAG TO DEATH THOSE I CARE ABOUT THAT IF I KNOW THEY SMOKE..... You have a daughter....in all the love I have in my heart....for her sake please STOP!!!!

O.K. Back to regular scheduled calm off my soap box ranting.....Blond almost breathing normal again....I LOVE MY PEEPS and don't want anything BAD TO HAPPEN TO THEM.....Blond is done now....

Has anyone here ever visited Gulf Shores Alabama or Orange Beach Alabama? We are thinking about renting a condo or a house on the beach there this summer. :)

Both nice places, lots to do, and good food everywhere................just be sure to check the long range forecast before you book, they can get some really strong storms

We like to go in early to mid June, before hurricane season. :)

That is possible but it is the vapor's that go cablam!!! (Blondese for it blows up) cause a friend lost his eyebrows trying to light a gas can.... not a pretty sight.....I wasn't there for the fireworks but I did see the aftermath.....
