Sweety your preaching to the choir, trust me I have tried many many times to tell ppl thisWow! 73 pages in 26 months. Has anyone considered the possibility there will be no agreement in the near future on this question? Doesn't it get boring eventually?

The thread must die......;b
Being Sunday and desiring to offer hope and encouragement, we should all count our blessings. I recall the horrors of the "Who Killed Goliath?" thread, daily seeing the unthinkable and inexplicable, the confusion bordering on despair that neither would die. Besides, there's a humanitarian purpose to this thread, as PlainWord needs some sort of career.
LOL, I wish I needed a career. I have 3 going at once, not counting this. But you will be glad to know my pastor started a series on Revelation last week. I'm going to need some strength to get through it. He thinks Mystery Babylon is Rome. Guess he doesn't realize Rome wouldn't have been much of a mystery to John.
Like I told you b4,if you start with doctrine,or a concept, you WILL find yourself painted in a corner CONSTANTLY.
Back up please.
1 thes resurrection =ONLY,THE DEAD IN CHRIST............not the 2 witnesses, not the patriarchs, and not the gt martyrs.
"dead in christ" = both martyrs and non martyrs
If you pile everything nto one big singular resurrection, they you have those alive, and remaining "raptured" and Mmeeting the lord in the air AFTER he has been returned to earth for some time,as he has thrown the devil into the bottomless pit.
See rev 20 and notte your supposed 1st resurrection "event" is AFTER satan is bound.
The singular pile is a fabrication and an impossibility my friend
Mystery Babylon being Rome is an anti-Catholic concept as old as the hills, no pun intended, this very prejudice suspect of having real interpretive validity. Interesting of the KJV is the woman sits on seven mountains, not hills, and mountains are likened to kingdoms, and I recall a study a long time ago that the word is, in fact, not the best word for hills. Also, it's no big whup mystery, if the reference is the seven hills of Rome, wouldn't have been so mysterious in John's time or ours, this famous adage of Rome: pretty lousy encryption? I see the seven mountains as historic empires of man, all of which have Satan at the heart, all of them, throughout history, spiritual Babylon, since Nimrod, with Satan ruling through unGodly men, that ultimate last empire, the eighth, literally trying to enthrone Satan. Anyway, something for you to ponder, while awaiting the inglorious appearing of your cursed hopelessness, the Antichrist, to come like a thief in the night.

Man,I have laughed so hard all day reading your posts its like being addicted or something and my wife fears my china man looking eyes and permanent grin are gonna ruin our sttanding in the neighborhood
Has anyone considered that there will be in the near future, a Calling Out of the Bride to go to the Wedding of the Lamb, which will settle this question?
I've notice that effect on some people around me, at least the ones who haven't committed suicide.
