I know I know, a guy never starts this conversation, nor do I ever talk about this ever, I always kinda knew I could be single forever, but yeah, thought I could maybe share this I guess, I saw this show and it reminded me the one thing that would be pretty cool to have, Rain, I'd be out doors while it rained on me, there would be some type of shelter for the guest I guess like tents or what ever, but yeah, there would probably not be any guess on my side but Jesus any ways since I probably wouldn't get Married til I finally hit 200 years but yeah......

You should hire yourself out to people who want outdoor weddings.... as someone who wants rain, you would counteract whatever is that magnetic force that seems to draw rain in to outdoor weddings!! lol

I´m not fond of weddings, because I see them a costly vanity (and someone has to pay for it).

Here´s the leak:

The place I´m working now, has an apartment where that woman in there has more than a couple of those pictures that were taken when she married someone I thought who was normal... The things I saw looked well, costly and well planned but, I have a hunch these are going to be divorce soon...

The investment these should have done could be another but, each person has the right to pursue what they want (that was theirs, and is their money, not mine)... And when I worked for them (Ha! Ha!) these were hard to pay: That´s what I called the funnel lesson!

I've not really ever thought about all the details of a wedding, but one thing I have thought about is music. I have maybe four or five certain songs that I think would be cool to play on different parts of the wedding day. I have one envisioned for the processional, sort of a prayer time in the middle of the ceremony, the recessional, etc. I don't plan on them all necessarily being used, though.

Hmmm. Something I have dreamt about since I was little. I have wanted a small wedding like fifty guests tops because I have a large family, but would happily decrease the amount of guests. I don't want the men including the groom to wear tuxedos/suits and ties. I actually like a nice plaid shirt and pants for them. Then for the bridesmaids, I prefer to have them wear a cute dress that is either hand made or doesn't cost a lot of money. For the wedding cake I think it would be really romantic if the groom and I were to make the cake together and help decorate it. I think it would make it more personalized than if somebody else did all the work.

I know I don't ask for much and I think it was where I grew up. I am a country girl through and through. I used to play in the mud and not afraid to get dirty, still am. All I ask is that my dad gives me away and whoever I marry loves God more than he loves me, and we give our marriage to God.

I think I messed up on the guys outfits. What I meant by checkered is having the shirt be a solid color with a little detail. Now that i messed up I am a little embarrassed.

My ex wife, who is good at making money, rented her wedding dress and, next day (or days) she rented THAT SAME DRESS to others she knew would be married her church so, she made some extra money before returning it back to that store...

Ha! Ha!

Hope this trick served others.

We eloped in Las Vegas in the Hilton Grand Resort on Thanksgiving Day of last year. Witnesses were 2 bell hops and a maid. Afterward we enjoyed a turkey dinner with trimmings in the dining room. Later, watched some football. Oh, there was time for that too.

My brother got married in his backyard. Afterwards there was BBQ, refreshments, swimming in the pool and volleyball. This was years ago when I was still a drinking man. I may have been a little tipsy.

That sounds interesting. I am not a fan of fancy weddings...just give me a tiny wedding and let me help with decorating and preparing....I helped make the cake, food, and decorations for my sisters' weddings. I actually was the witness for one of my sister's wedding....

I'm far less apt to being wed than I am to being married.

If am to end up with someone, I'd like to steer towards what gypsygirl said:
my perfect wedding?

elopement, followed by an extended honeymoon holiday.

Gypsy, you and I should get married!! (Or at least, plan each others' weddings.) We are totally on the same wavelength.

My ideal wedding would be cheap, fast, and on to the honeymoon, PRONTO.
