God said, in the moment you eat of this, you will die.

Either adam died the moment he ate, Or God is a liar.

Adam did die, how do we know?

"the things of God are foolishness to those who are not his"

Lets look at adam.

He walked with God (as non of us have)
He knew God (like non of us can)

Yet after he sinned.

He forgot who God was (he tried to hide from him)
He forgot who God was (He tried to blame eve for his own sin)
He forgot Who God was (he was afraid of his nakedness.

The fact God was omniscient (all knowing, even our minds) Omnipresent (you can;t hide from God) and all seeing (God created you naked, and is not ashamed of it, and covering it does not help) Proves the things of God became foolish to Adam. Why? Adam was no longer his, there was a separation. Adam had to be born again.

Gen 5:5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

2Pe_3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Adam died physically before he reached 1000 years, he died the same day he ate the fruit.

yes it is.

when jesus said, My God My God why have you departed from me, He died spiritually, the father and spirit turned their back on him, they were separated by our sin.

that is spiritual death.
Nah, not really so. Its simply not scripture, bro. Who taught you this? Have you listen too much to Copeland lately?

The beautiful truth about Christ's atonement is plain. As said in Rom.5:9:
[h=3]Rom.5[/h][8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
[9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

well it is true, Or when Jesus said it is finished he lied.

Copeland? I listen to the word. not men. And have never listened to copepland.

How can I be made alive, while I am DEAAD in my tresspasses and sin, if Jesus did not die the death I was suffering (spiritual)

Now your getting silly.

Adam died the day he ate of the fruit. or the things of God would not be foolish to him, he had to be born again because he was dead in trespasses and sins.

God killed an animal. and covered Adam. (the first symbol of Gods gracious sacrificial gift to mankind which would occure with Christ)

Adam did not ask. God provided, and adam did not reject his offering, he accepted it.

That is what God wants us to do. trust him.

His son offered his body to cover our sin, God is giving it to us, all we need to do is accept it in faith. Thats why it is Gods work. not ours.
People have to repent, to ask, to reach out to be saved.
"Repent and be baptized....for the forgiveness of your sins."
Now that is a conscious action, a spiritual reaching out to God. It is not Adam accepting a skin of an animal.
If you think this means Adam was "saved" you are mistaken.
I hold hell, the lake of fire, is a lake of destruction, of eternal nothingness.
Why should God eternally punish people for a short temporary rebellion in slavery to sin? That would not be just, to give eternal life to a being to eternally torture them for something they can do nothing about. Salvation cannot be earnt but it can be accepted or rejected.

Silly? Then what does this verse mean?

what does that have a hill of beans to do with whether or not adam died the day he sinned or not?

That is concerning Gods promise, he is not slack concerningn time (his time is not our time)

Has nothing to do with whether or not adam died or not. I already proved he did by his actions.

1. Adam had to repent for recieve Gods gift
2. Your adding works to Gods gift, making it a false gospel
3. We are saved by grace, Adam was saved by grace.

That scene where God placed the animal on Adam, is a perfect scene of our salvation.

God offeres. But I must repent to trust him. Or I will tell him no thank you God. I have this.

Did Adam die the same 24 hour day he ate of the fruit? No
Did Adam die the same 1000 year day he ate of the fruit? Yes
Did Adam die spiritually? No. There is no such thing as dying spiritually that I'm aware of anyway.

Yes he did, spiritually, he had to be born again, like we all do.

again, silliness, makes no sense.

then how can you be dead in tresspasses and sin, yet still be alibe physically. what tye of death do you think that meant.

when it says be born again, what do you think that means, how can I who am alive already be made alive again? (sounds like nicodemus, he was confused also)

if physical death is the penalty for sin, everyone who dies physically is saved, they paid the penalty for their own sin.

Being spiritually dead is labeling of how one is in their walk in life while in the fleshly bodies, as if one continues to walk a sinful lifestyle they will be judged and cast into the lake of fire.

The stating of this means a person do to their sinful lifestyle, if they continue that way God will destroy the soul in the lake of fire. There is no all souls live eternally in one place or the other in the bible, as the scriptures clearly say that some souls will be completely destroyed in the lake of fire.

Paul said that he was alive once without the law and then the law came, sin revived and he died.....yet was alive physically.....so...if he was alive PHYSICALLY how did he die?.....Except a man be born again..........!

no, being spiritually daed is what God says it is, We are separated from God because of sin, and need to be made alive in Christ.

It has nothing to do with our walk. In our walk, 24/7 we deserve spiritual death, because we can not fulfill the law.

the law did what it was supposed to do. in his mind it killed him. (once he realized it, remember paul as a pharisee did not think he was dead to God, even though he could quote the law verbatim, he did not understand the law)

That is why it places an onus on us to see the law for what it is, It kills us, And keep us dead because we can not fulfill its demands.

If we think we are still alive, then we have not repented, and can not trust Christ for salvation. We will not think we need saved

Sorry. I do not understand your language. I am adding works to Gods gift.
A universalist would say Jesus died for all, so we are all saved. Nothing needs to change in someones life, no relationship established, no transformation, no fruit etc. they are just saved.

This is stupid and heresy. You are saved because your sins are forgiven by accepting the price Jesus paid. But you have to accept it. But the only sense this makes is you become a different person, you repent, you behave differently, you walk in love, desiring to be perfect like Jesus. You are not earning salvation, you are walking in it.

If you cannot see this step of the walk, then you do not know the kingdom of Jesus....

if you adf the work of water baptism to the gospel. you are teaching works.

Adam was saved by God symbolically covering his nakedness.

His life changed back to God then.

God must change us, we can not change ourselves enough to make ourself acceptable to God. that is heresy,, and the work of satan.

Yes it does have to do with our walk, for if one continues to walk in the flesh (willful sins) then they are spiritually dead and headed to the lake of fire.

If a person is born again walking in the Spirit (obedience in the faith) then they are spiritually alive and headed to eternal life through Christ.

We can not cancel out the walk in the faith as the fruits prove one to be saved, no fruits the bible clearly says that person will be gathered and burned. Those who do not love do not have Christ, therefore those who do not walk in love are spiritually dead.................

I agree for sure......once he realized that the law proves one's guilt before God the gig was up.....!

that is true, why? Because they have never been born again. They are STILL dead in trespasses and sins.

But even after your saved, you still can not live up to the guidelines God demands (the law) thus apart from Gods saving grace you would still be dead in sin

thats the part you fail to realize, and why you have yet to repent.

If a person is born again walking in the Spirit (obedience in the faith) then they are spiritually alive and headed to eternal life through Christ.
even if they are born again they can not live up to the guideline required by the law. so they would still be dead, walking in the spirit or not.

Walking in the spirit allows them to be blessed, It can not save them, or they would still be under law and condemned, because they still can not live up to Gods standard.

We can not cancel out the walk in the faith as the fruits prove one to be saved, no fruits the bible clearly says that person will be gathered and burned. Those who do not love do not have Christ, therefore those who do not walk in love are spiritually dead.................
yep. because no one can love until God loves them, proving if they do not have loved, they have NEVER BEEN SAVED.

But using that to support your works based, Gospel from satan, which is no gospel at all, is not going to help you.

when are you going to repent? And seek Gods gift of eternal life? and stop trying to work for it ken?

AMen.

Thats why Paul looked like a God fearing person as Saul. But actually became one and walked like one as Paul.

The law did its job as schoolmaster once God opened his eyes (by closing them in blindness)
