Yes. I've been missing for a little bit. Thanks for asking.

(*smirk*)

Not currently in El Paso. Decided to skip town for the last few days of Spring Break. So, yeah.

I won't tell you where I'm at. Or with whom I am hanging out...but...you can probably guess. :p

Hope you guys are all doing well. ^_^

I don't know if anyone else watches The Walking Dead but...last week's episode was gruesome. This whole season, really, I've had to close my eyes and ears at least four to five times.

I can't handle gore. Probably a poor choice of show to watch, considering that fact.
I'm such a pansy. I can't handle much gore and even less undead. I loved "Shaun of the Dead", "28 Days Later" and "Zombieland", but that's about it. I just don't have much of a stomach for them. And that's okay.

I'm the same way about blood and gore, but when it comes to zombies for some reason they don't bother me. Maybe because they don't seem to be in pain, just hungry all the time lol.

Even movies claiming to take place in Alabama are actually filmed in Georgia...cruel world:p...on the other hand...I reckon they didnt find a fitting home for a character like Forrest Gump in Alabama so they had to move the entire set to ga...lol

RUN FORREST, RUN!

[h=3]Filming[edit][/h]Filming began in August 1993 and ended in December of that year.[SUP][19][/SUP] Although most of the film is set in Alabama, filming took place mainly in and around Beaufort, South Carolina, as well as parts of coastal Virginia and North Carolina,[SUP][7][/SUP] including a running shot on the Blue Ridge Parkway.[SUP][20][/SUP] Downtown portions of the fictional town of Greenbow were filmed in Varnville, South Carolina.[SUP][21][/SUP] The scene of Forrest running through Vietnam while under fire was filmed on Fripp Island, South Carolina.[SUP][22][/SUP] Additional filming took place on the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina and along the Blue Ridge Parkway near Boone, North Carolina. The most notable place was Grandfather Mountain where a part of the road is named "Forrest Gump Curve".[SUP][23][/SUP] The Gump family home set was built along the Combahee River near Yemassee, South Carolina and the nearby land was used to film Curran's home as well as some of the Vietnam scenes.[SUP][24][/SUP] Over 20 palmetto trees were planted to improve the Vietnam scenes.[SUP][24][/SUP] Forrest Gump narrated his life's story in Chippewa Square in Savannah, Georgia as he sat at a bus stop bench. There were other scenes filmed in and around the Savannah area as well, including a running shot on the Richard V. Woods Memorial Bridge in Beaufort while he was being interviewed by the press, and on West Bay Street in Savannah.[SUP][24][/SUP] Most of the college campus scenes were filmed in Los Angeles at the University of Southern California. The lighthouse that Forrest runs across to reach the Atlantic Ocean the first time is the Marshall Point Lighthouse in Port Clyde, Maine.

You see... I have an irrational fear of getting eaten alive.

So, really, do let whammy for me on watching The Walking Dead: I'm not good with gore or getting eaten alive.

So right now I am making my tofu bacon, and all I have to say is that my dog's beggin strips look a hundred times more tastier than these things.
So I am going to have a bacon and egg salad.
I win.

We didn't catch ANYTHING. Not even one bite. Well, dad had a nibble on his line. Some guy stepped over our lines fighting with a fish he hooked; 40 minutes later and his line snapped. The weather was very nice and it was lovely being in front of the lake.
