I sent it your way cause we had a perfect day today not a cloud in the sky and I got to go to the pool and swim and lounge in the hot tub.....oh, sorry I already mentioned that......

First let me say Welcome to CC and to the Speak Your Mind thread. A friend request has been sent your way. As to your original question....

According to how I read the Bible there was an issue in heaven where Lucifer wanted to be equal to or higher than God. His pride got in the way and he questioned God's character. He was thrown out of heaven and far as I can tell took about 1/3 of the angels with him....So he must have been pretty persuasive.

I think that this is a pretty deep subject for this thread, but I'll answer it anyway.

What Satan did or didn't do has nothing to do with man's original sin. The most important lesson that that we can take from man's disobedience in the Garden of Eden (the first sin as we know it), is just how easily man will give up paradise for the promise of something better.

But exactly what is sin as mentioned in the Holy Bible?, i can understand a transgression of God's law by the simple comparison of a road traffic offense, like speeding 50 in a 30 zone, you transgress a law you knew you pay the price. But what exactly is to be brought forth in iniquity?, is it genetic or is it trait.

Psalm 51:5

Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.



Jesus Christ was brought forth into this world by a sinner, i know he was not a descendant of adam but how is it he is without sin?
