Yeah...
or maybe your guy has just turned himself into a toad.

: )
It's a very strong possibility. I mean, knowing me, of COURSE I'd be attracted to the guy who'd do something stupid to tick someone off to the point of turning them into a toad. :p

Well, maybe attracted isn't the word I'm looking for here. Lol, I dunno. It's late and I'm tired. :p My brain hasn't wanted to work right these past few days anyhow. XD

Don't let it get it you.

You can't really judge a toad till you get to know him

Just watched the elephant man. If you put a peanut inside a tupperware container, it's still a peanut. If you put a peanut inside a wrinkled paper bag, it's still a peanut. No matter what color, shape, or size someone's body is, they are still a soul inside, a soul that God made. Someday we ALL will be without our physical bodies. I am so used to looking with spiritual eyes that I don't much focus on what people look like. This man was such a beautiful soul, I could have very easily been friends with him.

This is true.

But if you put a peanut inside spicy poultry, it's Kung Pao Chicken.

1 Samuel 16:7
"for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the peanut."

Or something like that.

I amuse myself sometimes. I wanted to be all humdrum and be like, "Everyone's getting into a relationship. Well, where's my guy?? Probably gone and turned himself into a toad, never to be seen again."

And then I realize, wait a sec, here. I'm 18. 2 years from now I'm gonna look at myself and I'm gonna think I was crazy for thinking I should have a boyfriend. I don't care how many of my friends and people my age are dating and think they love someone. At this day and age, no one at 18 fully knows what love and commitment truly is.
I sure don't, and if I'm gonna date someone, I don't need to put them through some dumb emotional roller coaster. I want to be at my best emotionally, spiritually, physically... Life is going to give us enough crap, no need to add immaturity into the mix. Granted no one is perfect, but there's a point in life where you know that if you tried anything with anyone if they even had interest in you (which no one has ever mentioned having interest in me), it'd go down in flames.

So yeah. Praise God that He knows what He's doing and that if He wants me to marry, I will, and it'll feel right, and the timing will be His perfect timing. So glad God's looking out for me and has my back.
I don't think age has much to do with it. I see people in their 30s that act like they are 15. jumping in and out of relationships. truth of it, they never sat down to really think what do they really want. add in the entitlement attitude and the me me me all about me attitude and well relationships don't last.

People can end up in good relationships young. old couple down the road that moved a couple years ago were married for decades. when they got married she was 16 and he was 26. so I don't think age is a factor its mindset and being honest with yourself. sadly many today just can't seem to do that.

I really think this Christian psychologist thing could work. First steps first, more exercise and intentional steps to preparing a better environment for sleep.

Thanks for reminding me (no seriously. Not being sarcastic). I need to exercise more. Which I plan on doing, because I plan on walking my dogs at the local arboretum more often. I also need to create a better sleep environment (speaking of sleep, I should do that)...I've been trying to remind myself to clean my room and organize it better. I have some more room in there now that my sister took the keyboard out of my room. I wasn't happy with her when she did it, but I have more room in there now. I need to rearrange some things, and just clean my room. It looks like a natural disaster swept through it. Though, I've never been known to be the organized one of my family...

Why did I spend last night dreaming about different kinds of desserts? I woke up with a terrible sweet tooth...

But I also woke up with an idea for next Wednesday night.

I was worried that I might dream about Robert Durst because I watched a Dateline special about him last night. Thankfully I didn't. He's creepy.

My oldest sister made me (gluten free) french toast this morning. ^.^ Don't know what made her decide that she was gonna cook breakfast for everyone but she did. I was kinda miffed I couldn't sleep longer, but food covers a multitude of sins (unless the sin is gluttony). So yay. Effortless breakfast. Nom.

I was having a long argument with my ex about the validity of horoscopes. While she believed that they had some influence on a person's life, I believed that it was a crude and unscientific method of predicting a person's life. I even detested it because the sheer idea that a person's life could be shaped by the position of the sun, moon and a horde of stars sounded ridiculous to me. Furthermore, I believe that our times are in God's hands and it is He who alone can influence it (apart from we, ourselves).

Anyway... two days back, she challenged me to get my horoscope read. I wanted to play along and so I gave her my birth date and my time of birth. Half an hour later, she called me back in half an hour and gave me an analysis which shook me a bit. My horoscope was precise and it was near-accurate. What stood out was the prediction about my 'Health'. According to my horoscope, I am likely to suffer from two diseases - neurological and indigestion. It went on to say that my indigestion was because I ate a lot, with little control over my appetite.

This shook me real good because I have acute indigestion. My stomach seems to have a problem with almost anything I eat (which is just about everything). But how could a horoscope predict that accurately, with just my date and time of birth? Is there an explanation to it which I haven't considered before? Or is this a deception of the devil to mislead us into believing it?

That's very odd, indeed. I'm not sure what to say. I mean, horoscopes are nothing to mess around with in my humble opinion. But I dunno....
