The first time I ever saw cream of wheat was at a YMCA camp when I was 9. I thought they were grits, and I just about choked when I put that first spoonful in my mouth,

but corn meal, that's grits?
my brother in law was a trucker and drove to 49 states, and he was all about the southern food.

Aw, a little half and half and some honey drizzle over it and it is almost edible. Actually, I like it. Come to think of it, the only food I really don't care for is candied sweet potatoes. I like them baked with butter and sour cream but not candied.

You bet....just don't let John con you into that "turkey bacon" stuff. That's like drinking decaff coffee or a diet soda. It's like, what is the point?

Blond here......better health....exept for the diet soda....lol I'm with John on the turkey bacon....at least it has more meat and much less FAT.... which I don't need I have plenty of that all by myself.....lol
