It really doesn't matter. The OP already stated what this site believes and backs it up with scripture (yes, a site may be wrong when it goes against scripture too, but in this particular topic, the OP is supported by scripture). Let's move on and not promote Catholic doctrine.
Catholic teachings do go against the bible. People in the past have said that there are Catholics who are born again and will be saved. I do know many who were in the Catholic Church and became born again... They just left the Catholic church after. IF one is born again, the Holy Spirit will not leave people in a cesspool of false doctrine and a false gospel. He will lead them out
People also like to focus on what is similar between groups in an ecumenical attempt to bring people together.
John 4:24 NKJV
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth
Galatians 1:6-8 NKJV
I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
2 John 1:9-11 NKJV
Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.
There are many more scriptures in this regard, but the point is clear. We cannot yoke and mingle with error. If people bring another doctrine and gospel, we cannot yoke with them, but we can give them the truth.
Why can't we just all get along? We can when we are united in truth and not in error. To agree to disagree is one thing, but to say we are the same and yoke when our doctrine is so different is not acceptable.
catholics that say they don't worship / serve idols/demons don't know rcc teachings and practice. they might actually not be condemned -- only Yahweh knows their heart .... that is until they open their mouth.
Jeff, I know this is a nice sentiment that many people believe in, but I would like to direct your attention to the following scripture regarding false teachers IN the church and the effect they have on those who follow (are overcome) by them.

2 Peter 2:12-22 NKJV
Depravity of False Teachers
12 But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, 13 and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, 14 having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children. 15 They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 16 but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man’s voice restrained the madness of the prophet. 17 These are wells without water, clouds
carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.[c]
Deceptions of False Teachers
18 For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped[d] from those who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage. 20 For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. 21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22 But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,”[e] and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”

The first thing we have to recognize here is this. These false teachers are spots and blemishes in our love feasts as they dine with us. These false teachers are in the Church today. They have forsaken the right way, meaning they have turned away from the way that is correct to a path that is in error. As a result, they are reserved for the blackness of darkness forever, which means hell.
Secondly, by the words they use and the doctrine they spout, they allure people by flesh and lewdness. Verse 19 shows that these false teachers promise the people they ensnare a false "liberty" even though the teachers themselves are slaves of corruption. However the 2nd part of verse 19 is horrifically clear that the people the false teachers overcome (bring under their tutelage) are brought into the bondage of these false teachers.
So who are these people who are overcome by the false teachers?
Verse 18 shows that these people "have actually escaped from those who live in error."
Verse 20 shows that these people "have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ"
This is speaking about people who have been taken out of the world and come to Christ, ie, born again believers.
Returning back to verse 19, these born again people who have escaped the ways and error of the world are allured by these false teachers back into the pollution and error they had previously left. In addition they are brought into the bondage of these false teachers, and we know what the end result is for these false teachers.
If we ask then... are there people who are born again in the Catholic Church?, the answer is yes, there may be, but they will leave. Why? The Holy Spirit will lead them out. Is there danger in them staying in this church? Well, verses 18-20 are clear about the danger. If we stay under the guidance of a false teacher, we are "overcome" by them and brought into bondage of those false teachers. There is a serious consequence for doing so as shown by the scripture above.
This applies for all false teachers as well, not specifically the Catholic Church.
