How can I delete A post I wrote?

If I made an error and wrote a post in the wrong thread, how can I delete it, so as not to be a bother?

You have a 5 minute window to edit/delete a post. After that you're stuck. They have that short time frame for reasons, so they won't change it.
Don't bother going to mods as they won't remove posts unless they break the rules or have a lot of personal information. Just making a mistake isn't enough for them to act. Sometimes they move posts, but really the best thing is to either ignore it and put up a new post in the right section or make a new one and still go back and see what answers you get in the mistake one as well.

If you posted it in the wrong thread, occasionally we can move it to another thread/forum without deleting it, as long as it doesn't disrupt the flow of the original thread it was posted in.
