If it makes you feel any better, I killed a pumpkin pie by myself ... last night and early this morning for breakfast. Pumpkin's good for me, right ?
The only thing good about pumpkin pie is the Redi-Whip on top.
I'd "like" this but I want oldhermit and company to think I'm the rugged type

Speaking of Redi-Whip.....isn't it great just to take the can and squirt the cream right into your mouth?
You can empty a can pretty quick.....although there is a lot of air that comes with the whipped cream......burpage to follow...consumption....lol

pies....my gram told a story of when she was a new wife, and wanted to surprise granddad with an apple pie.
so she started early and baked one right after he went to work.
it smelled so good, she had a large slice.
it tasted so good, she had another. by now half the pie is gone.
she said she was so embarrassed, she finished it and baked another.
after dinner, granddad asked, didn't she want some pie?
and she said, i didn't even want dinner!

There's also flour in the pie crust so with the vegetable it's like eating a open sandwich....There you go no guilt.....when you ate the whole pie you just ate one sandwich....you're good.....
