Seems like I spend almost as many nights outside as I do inside. Nothing like waking up on brisk morning and crawling out of the sleeping bag and shaking the frost out of my hair and sitting around the fire with a pot of coffee watching the sun come up. THAT is living!!!
Ever find any creepy crawly in the sleeping bag with you??? Maybe girls are the only ones that think like this ....I would just die if I woke up with a snake.....yuck!!!!
Never even think about it. Never had it happen. I have had things crawl into my boots at night, scorpions, wasp, etc, so it is a very good idea to shake them out in the morning before putting them on.
Yea, I put my boot on one time and got stung by a red wasp. That will open up your eyes.
I think the "pray for your enemy" thread is leaking... but yes, I mentioned Jonah in this context to Grandma just this morning. Jonah went the opposite way specifically BECAUSE he didn't want God to give them mercy.
Kinda hard to remember when I'm at work and that certain manager thinks she's the store owner and is chewing my tail again... God would sure be unhappy if she misses Heaven.

That sure is a difficult one for me "love thy boss as thyself" LOL. It sure aint easy to love my boss but I have prayed for him on occasion!

Watching hubby eat ice cream on a cooler day with his hoodie on....He will be cold when he finishes.....lol Why do we humans do such things? Yes, I know because the ice cream tastes good.....lol

Yeah, but the opposite effect on perceived internal temperature. Smokers tell me they don't really feel the cold when they go out to smoke in the winter. Eating ice cream... >.>

Believe me I would shove more ice cream at him as he needs a little weight on him and am happy that he is eating....It is just that he get cold so much more and faster than I do and we have a cool day today....It was just humorous to me that he is eating it with his hoodie on....lol
PS Day 19 without cigarettes I am so very proud of him and praising God at the same time.
