Anti-malware programs are different and you can have them alongside an antivirus program. But let the guys correct me if I'm wrong.
As far as I know antiviruses conflict with one another in general so you should have only one installed.

"Giving" advice out?! No, no. I have your payment information on file, so by all means, ask away. (Aren't you a Mac user, too? That will cost you extra.)
It's fine to have a program that doesn't offer real time protection (like the free version of MalwareBytes) installed with another AV program installed, but don't have two of them offering real-time protection/monitoring running simultaneously. They will "conflict" in more than one way.
Ccleaner is not an anti virus program in any way, so you're good there no matter which AV program you are using for protection.
(Aren't you a Mac user, too? That will cost you extra.)

Depending on your computer and operating system its usually pretty easy to set your computer to original factory settings with a few exceptions such as
-is your operating system still supported What does it mean if Windows isn't supported? - Windows Help
- do you have a recovery disk.
If you are still interested in using your old laptop by knowing the brand and model and the operating system and I can link you to how to reset to factory settings or if your lucky going back to a restore point.
