Funny you should say that... It is from the "solid food" of the Word that the Holy Spirit teaches us that the idea of "Catholic Heresy" which is expressed in the title and original post of this thread is true.
I apologize if I offended you with my statement. To me being like minded is having the mind of our Lord Jesus Christ, in which Paul emphasizes threw out his writings. As stated in 1 Timothy 2:4, God “who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth,” is the mind set that I try keep myself. Catholic, Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, Baptist, Mormon, Methodist, etc, God’s desire for them is still the same and has not changed regardless of how they were brought up or taught in their beliefs. There are millions of Catholics in the world and when one of the first things you see when coming to this site is a bold print statement “Catholicism heresy” how many of our Christian brothers and sisters who were brought up in the Catholic Faith are going to go elsewhere? I myself do not believe what main stream Christianity teaches because it is not biblical based. As Peter states in 2 Peter 3:9 that the Lord is “not willing that any should perish but that all should co to repentance”. It is not the Lords will that any man should perish so why does main stream Christianity teach that men will perish? The Lords will be done. Philippians 2:10-11 says “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Not a few, not just some, but every. We need to trust our Father that in this age or the age to come He will reveal his love and give understanding to all. Why does main stream Christianity not teach this? Again God’s desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, and what is that truth? 1 Timothy 2:5-6 “For there is on God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” Not a few, not just some, but for all. To deter someone from this knowledge based on the belief system that they have been taught from man is wrong. Our Father loves us all. John says this about our Lord Jesus in 1 John 2:2 “He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.” Not a few, not just some, but for the whole world. Why does main stream Christianity not teach this? In fact Paul instructs Timothy to teach this very thing, 1 Timothy 4: 9-11 states “This is a faithful saying an worthy of all acceptance. For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe. These things command and teach.” God is the Savior of all men, not a few, not just some, but of all. Why does main stream Christianity not teach this? Again I apologize if my earlier post offended you.
