When you realize all the heroes you loved from the childhood movies you remember would have gray hair if they were real and still alive today.

What WOULD Aladdin look like as an old man? I'm pretty sure Jasmine's dad is dead by now.

Serious comment/not humor...........

You know your getting old when you walk through your house, accidently hit your hand on a door knob, kinda smarts, but no big deal, go into the kitchen, reach up to open the cabinet and get a cup to pour some coffee...........and your hand is covered in blood. Yes that insignificant bump ripped out a piece of skin about the size of a dime.........goodness.......The sad thing is, I have done this twice today.......both hands bear the bloody wounds of old age this day.

Oh well..........such is it when one gets old..........

Boy, I hope that doesn't start happening to me when I get old.

It will. My pastor is 82 and it's still hard for us younger ministers to keep up with him, but his skin sure tears easy.

It's just on the backs of my hands though.......rest of me can take a licking and keep on ticking........but goodness, I'm so very tired of the least little bump drawing blood. And it's impossible to put a band aid on without wrapping your whole hand from just above the fingers to the wrist. Band aids won't stick in just the spot of the injury.........sigh

It's a guy thing.....men and their tools......women and their shoes.......

Women always say it's a guy thing...

Until they need us to hang a shelf, or fix something that's broken, and then all of a sudden those tools are the best thing in the world.

Ladies, if you don't pull it too often, we sometimes even like fixing things for you, sometimes....

I mean, it's kind of hot... it's like saving a damsel in distress... err, hanging sheetrock.

Hanging sheetrock is definitely hot.
