I don't think it is really a belief system though, I just believe what the bible tells me.

Killing is sin. And running from problems isn't much better. So if you kill yourself to get away from problems, it's probably not a good thing.

i have to dis agree suicide is not ok. it is a perment soluation to a temporary problem. if you kill your self, then you are not only taking your life away but you are also taking you friends and family's joy and laughter with you. God is the only one who can rightly say where you go if you kill yourself.

Now about suicide, no matter what your motives are for doing it you are basically telling God that he didn't make you good enough and that there is nothing that he could do to get you out of the situation you are in. So you are telling God up yours basically.

Maybe the act of suicide itself is of this nature, but the real question is how much of this guilt rests on the individual's shoulders. As I said earlier, personal culpability can be diminished, or even negated completely depending on the circumstances.

I don't think its a good idea to tell someone suicide is okay. It isn't okay; its a sin just like anything else, and sin is not okay.
