I think it's so awesome when guys like to barbeque a variety of stuff. I'm a great cook and baker, but I do not like standing at the grill cooking. So it's always fantastic to me when a guy throws steaks, hamburgers, chicken, kabobs, fish steaks, or ribs on the grill and makes a masterpiece dinner.

True Kim, but not NEARLY as successful as going in the chat room and sending an I.M. to a random person who has a "don't PM me" message in her chat box, or at least some people seem to think so. Oops, I just realized that I'm breaking the rules of my own thread. Um, how about to make this post nice yet keep the bit I find amusing, I'll just add this: some of the guys are so sweet that it would be worth moving to another country to marry them. Maybe. For some of us.

Girl food-buddies are awesome companions at an all-you-can-eat buffet. I hate it when I have to stop eating just because the other person is already done eating. (That's because I think that it is bad-luck to eat while someone is watching you... )

Sometimes it seems like the easiest way to get something explained is to ask a man to explain it. They have a very basic way of saying things sometimes that is easy to grasp without wading through excessive muck created by emotions or tippy-toeness (That's not a word? It should be.) There's an awesome sweet spot, between pussyfooting around an issue and being a jerk, and I love it when someone (anyone) makes an effort to find it.
I've seen men go into "protector mode" a few times, and it kind of blew me away. There haven't been too many opportunities to observe that (because it kind of requires some sort of danger) but it was a very interesting thing to see, and I remembered it well and appreciated it. A lot.
Men can usually make me laugh more easily than women can. I appreciate that a lot, too. Guys just tend to have good senses of humor.
And I like the way men are sort of simplistic in the things they "need", like how most of them can be fine with just soap, shampoo, and toothpaste. They don't have a billion bottles of makeup. There is so much STUFF in the world that wouldn't exist if earth was populated by only men. I think that's neat. Stuff doesn't need to be fancy for most guys, as long as it works. Very sensible.

This is true actually. I use Dawn dishwashing liquid for shampoo, mopping the church bus out, all kinds of cleaning... shoot I even wash dishes with it. I don't have to buy a thousand and one cleaning agents - if Dawn doesn't get it off, Borax or Comet will.

When I lived with my parents, they shared a big pump shampoo/conditioner bottle and they each had their own bar of soap. And then when I moved in with them, since there was only one bathroom, I brought all my stuff in. My dad told me, "We used to only have one bottle in the shower and now we have 8."
He wasn't exaggerating, either.

I like how many women can keep things in the right perspective and encourage or motivate people to continue on. Women seem to have more stamina than men some occasions in the faith area. Where men just want to stop believing and be angry women find a way to find the gift or bright side.
I think thats why God created them men and female. This is a balance in life. The genders have there distinctions so that we motivate the opposite side or steady there minds or hearts.
