Try not to leave us in anticipation for too long!I recorded a video of me playing guitar/singing and it's uploading to YouTube now. It's only at 2% loaded and I'm already self-conscious, ha. I'm terrible, too self-critical. I only did one take because I didn't feel like spending too much time on it.
I have no idea how those two act like. And yes, hair is very important. There is no record of Jesus ever getting a haircut - - and look what happened when Samson did.So if Blake Shelton and Kiefer Sutherland had a love child... the result would be Catherder?!
(Seriously... Good job, Cat! You seem a lot nicer than either one of those two, if it's any consolation. From what you've portrayed on cam, I think you also have seriously better hair.)
And we all know hair is important!

Also, since I grew facial hair for the first time, I've discovered that I have a touch of soulless ginger in me. That's weird.

I wanna see! (But no pressure, it would just be cool)
This conversation totally reminds me of this

Humor? I'm not amused that our blueorchidjd is off to have a cry.Going to make some fresh coffee,
Cry,
and listen to some depressing music.
Then after that I'll read my bible and probably end up falling asleep.
hahhaa.
I might just delete this post but for humor purposes I think i'll keep it.
I'll probably post it here. It may be a while though, it's still only at 43% and it's been uploading for 3.5 hours now. :/
Are you uploading it in 4K or something? Come ooonnn! *paws at Rachel's computer like Smeagol does to Frodo's cloak as it uploads slowly*
He said, "We're playing there, my worship band, at a coffee shop this Friday at 7." And we talked a little more about it, and he never explicitly said "You should come" but I feel like it was fairly heavily implied.
So, my sister, brother-in-law, and I will be going this Friday. What a good weekend for them to be here!! I don't think I would have gone alone, though I'm sure I could have found someone to go with me.
I'm trying not to get too excited, I'm sure he's just being friendly either way.
But I smiled in the elevator and all the way back to my desk.
Ugh.
That's adorable.![]()
I tried posting this earlier, but CC went wonky on me and decided I wouldn't post it. But now I'm deciding to post it.
My local grocery store is hiring, and I'm planning on applying. It's a labor-intensive job, but the pay is supposed to be really good. Now that I FINALLY have some sort of experience...I might get somewhere with this. I'm not 100% sure if I want to do it or not, but my conclusion is, I'll have plenty of time between the application/interviewing process to decide that.
So, um, my crush sorta invited me somewhere? I think? I'm no good at this.
I thought about leaving it in suspense but I'll elaborate.
There's a guy I like at work. Just a little crush. He works in the cafe in my building. Makes amazing bagel sandwiches, but that's besides the point.I don't go down to the cafe every day, so I really only see him once a week, but a while back I decided to be a creeper and add him on Facebook after we had chatted a few times. He's a Christian.
This past Friday when I went down, there wasn't anyone else in the cafe. It was quiet for a bit, then I asked him about his shirt, he and the other lady were wearing the same one. It was for their church. So then we chatted for about 10 minutes about his church and what they do, etc. I got some information, said I would check it out.
I didn't get to go yesterday. I plan on going this coming weekend (my sister and brother-in-law will be here so I won't be going alone which is a relief). Anyway, I went down to the cafe this morning to get a bagel. It was fairly busy. He didn't make my bagel, but he was standing in front of me, not saying anything for a while. Then he looks up at me and says, "Do you ever go to (a town nearby)?" I said sometimes, since that's my college town and it's not that far away. He said, "We're playing there, my worship band, at a coffee shop this Friday at 7." And we talked a little more about it, and he never explicitly said "You should come" but I feel like it was fairly heavily implied.

You should definitely go for it! The physical work will really be good for you, in body and soul both, and the money will really be nice too! Hope you get it!

I realize that this isn't the song dedication thread, but I am dedicating this song to the two of you. You'll have to change the names to fit...

Ah, it's what's-her-name from the brilliant (but short-lived) TV series "Pushing Daisies"!
