I think Donald trump should run. Think about it. We are in major debt. Trump went bankrupt twice and is still a billionaire. He could fix us financially

He's still broke, living off other people's money. We've got enough of that in Washington.
he's never been personally bankrupt -- he's bankrupted his own corporate entities four times, and escaped each time with a golden parachute through clever legal maneuvering that shielded his own personal assets from culpability.
do you want a guy with a history of rapidly inflating and destroying empires, while saving his own skin with a golden parachute, in charge of the country? someone who's really good at dodging personal responsibility and manipulating media and jumping through legal loopholes to keep blame pinned on others and maintaining a false outward appearance of success?
i guess it wouldn't be anything new.
plus, the campaigns would be absolutely hilarious, in a dark, self-examining sort of way.
actually it seems pretty appropriate -- elect a guy whose only qualifications are being rich, incredibly vain, and not a democrat.

Just what we need, a non God fearing egotistical idiot. Wait a minute they do that any way when choosing people for office so he would fit !!!
The sad thing is, there are a lot of God-fearing, humble people who enter the political process and turn into monsters. Usually on their first run for office.

Yeah I know, but Donald Trump loves to be idolized and even mentioned this publicly. Which is why he almost always puts his name on everything he owns.
I don't disagree. Just making a general statement on something that really has to change if we are to survive as a country, quite frankly.

This may end up being a moot point. If the president gets approval for his new wars power cat there may not be an election. If he gets his wish, and we find ourselves involved in a major conflict... again... he can't be put out. This would also give jim power to establish martial law, then he can definitely stay in power... indefinitely.
I wouldn't worry about that.............and I worry easily.........
Same conflict/war/stuff was going on when Obama first ran for President, and when he was elected, Bush stepped down, and Obama stepped in.............then we ALL stepped in a big pile of it............
This has turned into s republican bashing thread. Sad, but I don't expect much from a few here.
