Dear brother, if you read post #76 you will see that I am not blind to the problems that can arise when certain women become pastors, but for you to make a blanket statement that women pastors don't read the Bible is seriously shortsighted.

Yeah, I don't think that's what God was thinking.........I kinda go with Scripture on this one.......

There is no male or female through Christ, but here on earth we do still have the roles given to us that we must follow. Be careful with that piece of scripture, it can be used to justify those living as transgender. We are freed from the law because we have all broken it, but God is still a God of order, and never once said live as youd like.

It's not a matter of better; it's a matter of primogeniture.

Seeing as how Paul's rules are Christ's rules, then it's also a matter of
loyalty.

You know why the issue of female pastors is so controversial? It's because
far more Christians are worldly than heavenly; they're living the Christian
life according to their feelings instead of according to the rules; viz: they're
carnal instead of spiritual; and apparently content to be that way.

You mean like those who DESPERATLY CLING to the Laws of Moses, and the "traditions" of man instead of maturing in their Faith, receiving the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, and learning what it means to be a Spiritual Christian/Disciple of Christ?
Though we are no longer under the law, Christ told us how to live, and never said do what you want as long as you believe in me. God says He saves those who desire righteousness, not those who see what they can get away with. What does living righteously mean? Trying to be like Christ, who told us Himself, He came to do GODs will.

Just go back to the beginning of this thread and read the various comments from those who condemn women called to the Ministry.....and the one GLARING fact that pops out is that THEY THEMSELVES are in disagreement over a woman's role in the Church..........goodness.........

And besides, being a Christian thread, we should in fact go with Christs teachings. Speaking about women preaching, it is good to bring Christ into the conversation, because Paul was not Christ. And Christ never once said that women could preach, but actually told us that He supported Gods will.
Also, the opener never mentioned Paul, but only whether or not "do you believe its right for a woman to be a pastor?"

Put God before things like what men call equal rights. Does Gods will really hurt anyone? And besides, even though the earth is always taking about equality, and even accusing God of in equality, is our world even really in anyway equal?
Why fight with what God has asked? Why not just follow it? And no Im not coming as someone who has followed the law perfectly, but I dont wanna argue with it, the bible does tell us that God did not want women to preach.

Females maturing in the Christian faith, after receiving the indwelling

Christian/disciple of Christ; are obedient to Paul because Paul's rules are
Christ's rules.

Yes, God's truth must be preached, if women are available to do the work where there is a need, they must be allowed to
God is merciful, and yes we are no longer under the law, meaning we cannot claim that we are saved because we did well under the law. But God did say that He did not want women to preach. That is my entire point in this conversation. It has never been written that God did want that, and there is nothing that shows that He would that I know of. I would never say to take any action against a woman who does, or even treat her differently than a male pastor, but I do not believe it was ever Gods will.
Its like divorce. Yes, Christians do it, and yeah Moses even told Gods people they could, but Christ told us that it was never what God wanted, but is done because we refuse His will.

For the female pastors in my family I am deeply offended.That you believe these women are doing the devils work.It just doesnt get anymore offensive then that.I've had trolls say some pretty nasty things to me but nothing on here has been so offensive to me.

Please first of all, let us not look onto men what they do, as to say they 'preach'. But please do look at the New Covenant, what should actually take place in the church, in 'order' to 'built up' already saved believers, after coming in faith upon receiving the 'preaching' of the Gospel to repentance and further in baptism of water and the HOLY SPIRIT.
Please read 1 Corinthians chapter 14, the whole context that explains what 'truthfully' should take place in a church, in 'order' now to 'built up', HOLY SPIRIT gifted people (1 Corinthians chapter 12 in context), gathered to gather, on 'one' discipline and obedience to the Word of GOD, especially the New Covenant by 'prophesying'.
Then the other 'gifts' in 'orderly', 'prophesied' knowledge in 'unity' pattern as follow, conducted in the church as well.
And in 1 Corinthians chapter 11 the whole context, allows women to 'prophesy' and 'pray' in the church, but in 'orderly' knowledge taught and guided pattern, with a 'covering', if she have her hair 'cut short'. The KJV version disallows them to even use a sharp instrument to 'trim' or 'cut' their hair. because it has mentioned the word 'shorn'.
If they have to 'shorn' or 'shave' due to a reasonable reason, they ought to wear a 'covering', to honor their 'Head', 'CHRIST' and 'overseer' and their husbands for married women and 'CHRIST' and 'overseer' and their biological 'father', for unmarried woman.
Though Im not trying to say that they are in anyway an enemy of God, I do wanna point out that we are warned that satan comes as an angel of light. I strongly believe he is the one who is leading us to the coming age of "tolerance, reason and unity". Not everything he pushes on you is death and destruction, often times its actually almost seemingly kind and righteous.
Though God is merciful, satan will lead you to rebel against Him in any way he can, all to get at God. That does include making you question the reasoning and logic behind something God wants, one of maaaany being why couldnt a woman preach.

If you are wise, only answer according to the 'title of the tread'. The answer have been already given according to written and established New Covenant, for all Christian men or women to come into 'submissive' and 'obedience' to GOD's 'every word' given by CHRIST and the HOLY SPIRIT who have 'inspired' them. Sadly the 'lamb of CHRIST' who posted this 'tread in question', i believe is no longer participating with us in this, with who have transform this discussion room into a 'market place'.
