Jesus is the God of the Old Testiment for those of you who dont know your doctrine. I serve the Jesus who would save a gay with His blood but would inspire a Bible that said do not keep company with fornicators (gay is that and much more.)
rofl!!!! ok love your humor! Anyways I think they do deserve special treatment in the sense that they have been kinda hurt by the church in a special way that I'm not sure we can understand fully. The church basically tells them that they are going to be alone forever and they aren't allowed to fall in love with another human being or have that special relationship that a husband and wife share. What if someone told you that you HAD to be single forever because the Bible said so and then no one was there to help you not fall in love or stay chaste.
Does that make sense?
I think it would be more appropriate to refer to him as Yahweh, but I suppose that isn't important.

Its not rocket science nor is it a problem, it is only a problem because atheists and haters of Christiantiy are making it an issue and Christians are falling for it.
At end of day, people are going to hell for rejecting Christ. If a homosexual comes to Christ and accepts Christ, it is between the homosexual, Christ and Holy Spirit as to what happens next, yes they will know what they do is wrong, but it can take a life time of change, just as someone who has a morbid fascination for death and likes to murder people, or someone with a drink or drug addiction.
There is no need to single out homosexuals, but the atheists are doing a good job of baiting Christians into doing that.

As you have seen any topic you start here can quickly be turned into a debate, with both sides of the argument rushing to the battle lines, armed to the teeth with the bible verses they use to defend their side and cut down the opposing side in a given debate. However, I would like to answer your original post. How does one witness to them?
Just like any salesman talks to someone. You explain what you have and why they need it. Nothing more or less.
There's a company called Earthworks that makes really expensive microphones. I mean really expensive - as in, their measurement mic is $600. Microphones for recording professional singers are more expensive. There's also a company I won't mention that makes a $50 knockoff. I have never seen a commercial from Earthworks talking about how shoddy this knockoff is and why I shouldn't buy it. They just make a really good mic and advertise its qualities and quality. Some buy it because they want that kind of quality. Some get the cheap knockoff. But the ones who spring for the Earthworks mic get one good microphone. But Earthworks doesn't spend a lot of time explaining why the knockoff is so bad. They just explain why their microphone is good.
There's a guy I work with that I have been taking to work lately, because he lacks transportation. He's not a christian, he talks a lot about how he got drunk the night before, he might briefly allude to last night's activities with his girlfriend. I don't spend a lot of time talking about how what he does is wrong. When I talk about God I talk about what I know, what I benefit from being a Christian, the peace I have in this really messed up world. I don't talk against the competition, I talk for my product. Last Sunday night he came to church (and weeeee, did we have a good service!) He said he wants to come again this Sunday night.
What if a homosexual brings up his homosexuality? What if he gets confrontational about it being a sin? Well... what if someone called up Earthworks and ranted about how expensive their measurement mics were? What if someone went on about the knockoff? What would it matter to Earthworks? Such a person is argumentative and looking for a fight. Would you expect the Earthworks employee to get in an argument with this person?

The better question is when they do come to Christ, do they HAVE to be celibate and single for life? That's alot to ask. Especially after all ready starting to have sex.

they won't understand the gospel if they do not hear the law. which as you have noted, condemns sexual sin.
if they are repentant and desiring to stop that sin (like drunkenness or stealing), they are our brothers and sisters struggling with their sin. we help them in their struggle.
we are not helping anyone by with-holding the law's pronouncement on sin.
after all, the law leads us to Jesus

when a murderer comes to Christ he must stop his sin, yes?
homosexuality is not unforgivable. but we have to fight the sinful flesh causing us to sin. sorrow and remorse for sin, and the desire to stop it is what distinguishes us from those who would claim homosexuality or any sin is okay. we know it's not.
so, if someone is only attracted to someone of the same sex and would find it impossible to marry the opposite sex then celibacy is the goal, most assuredly.

sin is very hard to stop, especially if it is besetting and has been a lifestyle.
but by any means necessary it needs to be stopped.
it can be. if someone fails, they repent, confess their sin to the Lord, seek cleansing and start over. support and pastoral care is crucial i believe.
no one said it was easy. it's not.

I've tried got very impatient waiting for many years, right now im tired of casual sex though frome experience i can say that wasn't necesarily the right way to act out, so im waiting for a relationship but if a really good man came along, I don't think i'd be able to stay alone.

your profile says you are a christian, but this is not how christians speak.
i'm not making judgments about your salvation, but you clearly don't understand the seriousness of what you've posted.
you can not have same sex relations, nor sex outside of marriage. as for the prospect of being "alone", if that is what it takes, that is what you must do. your sexual activity is forbidden. this is a short life, and you can find meaning and direction while choosing celibacy.
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

last thought on the matter - i believe pornography, even what is considered PG on television is a gateway to giving in to sexual sin. there are many things we can do to keep ourselves safe.
a drunkard ought not go to bars, for example. seems pretty straight forward. not easy perhaps, but it can be done.
