Or, the most polite way to ask the girl out I guess it's called. Whatever. Lol

So, with my new decided major...I'm having start my college search all over again. I really really don't want to. Because I loved the college I last visited. It makes me really really sad. But nutritional science is something I really am interested in, and there's numerous paths I could take with it.

Another of my friends got engaged. That makes the 4th person in two months that I know of. My good friend from my hometown also started dating someone recently and it's going really well for her. And I'm happy for them all, I truly am. It just makes me a bit sad, as well, knowing how far away I am from that.

That awkward moment when you are looking at colleges and then you figure out one of them is located in the town of one of your favorite fictional tv shows....and is an actual city in real life.

It's a real place about two hours away from Philadelphia (flithy delphia).

You would be the only other CCer I've ever talked to in PA if you decide to go there. Wait no that's not true. There was one other one in chat once. I'm pretty sure she was a catfish trying to lure me to my death though.

The whole thing was odd. She mentioned she wanted a boyfriend to teach her how to hunt, and got kind of irritated when I didn't indicate any interest in helping solve that problem for her. It could just be me, but I don't know that putting firearms in the hands of a random stranger you met on the internet for 5 minutes is a good strategy if you want to live a long and healthy life.

Just... weird. She then proceeded to say I must be one of those typical crazy people on CC that like cats. I mean, I do like cats, but I'm fairly well adjusted (which is more than I can say for my cats).

Anyways, which college? Lackawanna perhaps? And what major. There are other bible colleges in the area too, a few in Lancaster and Liberty in Philadelphia is supposed to be quite good (although the downside is you're in filthy delphia). Scranton has one thing going for it - it's God's country. I mean wide open expanses for the most part. Lancaster is also quite nice, and it has another thing going for it - It's only an hour from civilization, and there are some really nice Amish folks around there who are honest God fearing Christians who make some excellent food. I'm not sure how good the universities there are as far as the sciences are concerned though, I haven't really looked. Again, it depends on your major.

There are some others in this area for certain specializations like teaching or the arts.

Oh wow this is awesome Lil! I love nutritional science too and even thought about becoming a dietician for awhile, but you can do it. You're young and smart and all that. :D

Trust me, you may be a lot closer than you think. If you really click with someone, it doesn't take a lot for things to head down romance road. (Ok, that was really cheesy, but what can I say? It's almost midnight and I'm tired :p)

Yeah jsr1211 knows whats up, lol.
I just generally assume that things like that don't exist because now that I know the city actually exists I might actually visit there one day!

This is why we can't have nice things. lol
And ohhhhhhh how I wish I wish I wish that Pawnee, Indiana actually existed lol. But my town might be the next closest thing  The map of Pawnee on the show is actually an inverted map of my city :D

This is true...so what I say next may seem to disregard that but I'm just saying :))):

I've heard that a lot. My parents always say "You never know, you may be bringing someone for us to meet the next time we have Christmas together!" and it hasn't happened yet, or "It could be just around the corner!"

I just want to know how many corners I have to turn. :p

I feel better after dancing. I was getting on the verge of crying, but I thought, "Why be sad when I can dance" so I danced for half an hour. Then I felt pretty good and put up dinner and then swept and mopped. At 10:30 at night.

I hear you :) Really I'm just coming from personal experience. To me chemistry was always this sort of weird concept in relationships and I wasn't sure if it was even a thing...until I actually experienced that click with someone. And our meeting in the first place was a little bit random and happenstance. I never saw it coming. It ultimately didn't develop into anything serious due to poor timing and circumstances, but now I really do believe that it's one of those things that can take you by surprise and happen at the drop of a hat, and it can really happen to anybody.

Rachel, I've said it before and I'll say it again, men in your area must not have their heads screwed on straight if they don't notice you. I pray that you find a loving, godly and fun-loving man in due time. Because you deserve one. Big time.

Well, you have to let Him make the first move and then you reciprocate. And He'll never dump you. Even if you wear socks and sandals together.

The 14th is coming... .... .... ...

I am not a romantic person, at all. But I guess because most people (especially girls) have that romantic side I can (at..rare.. times) appreciate romance. When I can stand to have it around I like clean, simple and innocent romance. I'm not the biggest fan of getting gifts but if they must send something, the best gift is simple. A note, flowers, a card or even just a letter etc. I'm not the biggest fan of mushy, mushy touchy romance...if someone is overly affectionate physically it would be no different than them just throwing up on me because its just as gross.

She is just upset because I wanted to send her a gift, but she won't let me . At least it seems like she is alright with letters though...:p

Affection is the same for you as vomit? I do not know what to say, hahahaa...

However, there is a guy here called wisebeardman who I'd like to introduce you to. You two would be so cute together!

Nope, I'm pretty sure that's the unforgiveable sin. :p
