Noooooo... my favorite song is ruined! Hahahaa... this is so wrong.

Have you seen the official video? He actually learns the dance and performs it himself. Such a beautiful song and a lovely meaning. Gives me hope.

That chin's dancing was quite lovely as well haha.

But what dance do you mean? Is there a backstory to the song? I had actually never heard it, but do like it. Ed Sheeran has some awesome songs.

^^ This is the video. I wish the female dancer was wearing something different, but the dance itself is beautiful, and Ed Sheeran worked hard to learn it and perform it himself for this. You can view the behind-the-scenes of him learning it here:

Wow! The dance was beautiful! Thank you for sharing the video Grace. :)

And hey, just a curious question because I want to understand something. Wasn't the female dancer dressed appropriately for a dance practice?

Yes, the female dancer was dressed fine for practice. The actual official music video (in the first link) has her wearing something that looks too much like underwear for my taste. But that's just my personal opinion.

I agree. It's just a bit like underwear. Still, I'm not judging because the video is beautiful and hey, we are supposed to be watching the dance not her clothes. :p

I watched the behind-the-scenes video first. I don't know a ton about dance, but I can only imagine how difficult it is to learn a dance that long with so many intricacies to it and to do it with good technique. I like the whole part of the dance when they're on the floor--the way they sit down back-to-back and all of the creative parts of that sequence (the guitar strum and other clever things like that). And I like the way that it ends too. Really cool stuff!

I'm composing something that is supposed to sound like Sigur Ros. I need some help with completing the track and then adding lyrics to it. :(

Went to a new church today
It was pretty authentic and I felt a lot of love.
Not sure if God wants me to dive in there.

India's Republic Day going on.

Obama is the first American president to be invited as Chief Guest( really one of the highest honours for a foreign leader :) )

The theme of the celebrations is Women Power - which is so exciting.

I am glad that it is finally dawning on our country, the importance of one half of humanity. Despite the difficulties, the horrors and ordeals that women are subjected to, it's not lost on us that if we ever progress, we cannot do so without making women feel safe.

I don't know how the demonstration of women who keep our country safe helps, but it makes me so proud!

Proud to be an Indian, and proud to be a woman!

Best Republic Day ever! :D

I do, I believe that he wants me to because that is his framework.
But, I just don't know if that's 'the place' he wants me to be.
I know that sounds crazy, but maybe that type of thinking is really hindering great fellowship and growth in my life.

Speaking from personal experience, if you feel like you're in alignment and agreement with their theology and how they do things as a church, it's completely and totally worth the risk of jumping in :)

I wonder why I tend to be particularly hard on my dad and my sister about things. Like I tend to be more understanding towards people, but I will be quicker to blame them than to be understanding for problems that they have until I stop myself and realize what I'm doing. My next task for self-reflection is to figure that out.

I love how I can be my own therapist at times. Definitely a God-given gift.

The roads were really bad tonight. We played "Follow The Youth Pastor." He had to direct us home (well, when we got to about the halfway point he headed back towards where he lives) because there was a bad accident on the main road and so we had to take the back roads that aren't so safe. We weren't sure where to go, and so we met up at the gas station and he lead the way. He went out of his way tonight to make sure we didn't get lost or end up in a ditch, which we almost did once. Then right before we turned onto the road I live on, we almost got completely turned around. Thankfully no one was behind us. So yeah. Twice we almost got caught in a pickle.

Maybe that's why I'm actually tired for once..maybe my nerves are a bit fried. I mean I've been home for about 2.5-3 hours. But still....eek. Today wore me out.
