Already had a follow-up appointment this morning, and the surgeon says my new cornea looks good, and I can already see out of it better than he normally sees at this point. Thanks again.

Just got home from work and am starving.

Do you ever have those moments when you have a salt craving so badly that you're actually using a spoon to scoop up the very last super-salty bits and pieces of peanuts left at the bottom of the jar?

I'm pretty sure I'm eating enough salt to kill a horse.

Cue heart attack in 3, 2, 1...

WHoa whoa whoa! Please don't do that, Kim! One of my family members used to eat a lot of salt and he'd chuckle at those who told him he was crazy then one day he went to the hospital because he was feeling very ill. Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) in his mid 30's and he looked fit and slim. Now he takes all these meds but still has almost daily episodes of extreme fatigue and his heart could give out at anytime. So please don't go crazy with salt.

OOPS - I thought you said scoop up last bits of salt, not peanuts. Nevermind. :)
 
I've read every page of every thread on the first page, and a fair amount of the ones on the second and third pages, as well.

I can't decide if the people here are awesome or insane, but there are quite a few who are most certainly both.

I've gotta stop procrastinating about washing the dishes.

I stinking miss the sound of rain right now. Almost to the point I'm about to go on YouTube and listen to a track of rainfall. Sure rainy weather has always made me feel sleepy, it's a nice sound... Though I've never been one for thunderstorms.

Ugh. rain.. I can't stand it. Do people ever say, "You are my rainy day"? No, they say, "You are my sunshine". Ever hear someone say "Save your pennies for a sunny day"? No they say "Save them for a rainy day". Why? Because rain is what happens when the weather sucks. Ever hear of a natural disaster caused by too much sunshine?? Nope. Never gonna happen! Rain.. just because we need it doesn't mean I have to like it. :p

Right now, I prefer it over winter. >.< Soon enough, I'll be tired of the rain when it comes March/April. We'll get a stinkin' DOWNPOUR then. All rain. All. The stinkin'. TIME.

But at least when it's done raining I can go outside and soak in the sun...unlike when it's done snowing I stand out there, every inch of me covered up, and STILL freezing.
