His appearance was so badly marred
He could not have been recognized
So disfigured, so beyond all human likeness
That we hid our eyes

Though he carried all our griefs and bore our sorrows
We esteemed him not
But despised him and considered him afflicted
And as one reviled by God

Though all of us have gone astray
Though all have turned to their own ways
The Lord has laid our wickedness on him

He died to save his people from their sin

He was stricken, and though pierced for our transgressions

WOW...it truly is a small world. Like, wow. REALLY. The old scheduling manager that sort of dropped me at my old job? Yeah, she's a cousin of a friend of mine.

Just listened to it while driving to work. It sounded too happy for a song of that theme. I was expecting it to sound like Adele or Portishead. :rolleyes:

Welcome back, DuchessAimee. We lost some of our humour since the time you left, so please do everything you can to bring it back. Also, some of our people are growing older at an alarming rate. Could you do something about that as well? Kthxbai.

I will be praying for you ladybug. Keep us posted about whatever happens. :)

I want to spend more time in God's presence. I have been guilty of over-relaxing, so I want to balance that in the days to come.

Ha, it's because it's about falling in love with Jesus. :) It's supposed to be happy :D Though I can see where you're coming from!

I understand. And that's why the happy tune. But I was expecting the artist to talk more about the rules and burdens and his disillusionment with them. :)

Okay, Portishead is a bit extreme. Perhaps Lana del ray or Adele would've suited my preference.

Actually, I think I can write a song on those lines. I am going through a lot anyway, so why not make a slow song about it? Considering that we have one violist, a rhythm guitarist and a pianist here we can put together something awesome.

Is it weird when someone replies to every mail they get?

I am not talking of mails where I am in copy, but of mails which are addressed to me. It's like an obsession. Sometimes I tell them 'Thank you XYZ for your mail. I will get back to you on this.' :confused:
