No, I meant it. lol I'm not one of those girls that bitterly say, "I don't want a boyfriend, they're so overrated." and then secretly be like

#ForeverAlone

That's just not me....lol.
More like: #ForeverStuckInThe70s

(this is the first time I've ever used a hash-tag in this manner)
I feel so guilty. :p

So things are sort of better I have been going through some rough patches this past month.
Starting a fitness routine again tomorrow because I have been slack-a-lackin.
Going to start drinking protein shakes and running again
*Does not want to kill progress I made over the past year*

Yah.

So it finally appears to be winter time around here...took long enough.

Trying to decide now if it would be worth the half hour long struggle to bundle up my kids to take them outside for what would probably be about ten minutes...I mean, it IS only 15 degrees outside. But...it's snowing. And my daughter has never played in the snow.

But then...it's not like it's nice snow. Not the fluffy, powdery stuff, and not the big, sticky flakes you can build stuff out of, either.

I think I'm making excuses.

Maybe I'll just fix up some hot chocolate for everyone and plug in the Christmas tree lights and call it good.

I have said a prayer for the surgery to go well and for anything else you are facing in life at this moment. Life can be hard at times but it is how we handle this times that will define us. Fear not.

Some are born to move the world
To live their fantasies
But most of us just dream about
The things we'd like to be
I need to do something with my life.

Wanna be an astronaut? Cuz that'd be pretty sweet...then I could be all, "Hey! I sort of know this guy that I've never met and he's an ASTRONAUT! Boom!"

...or not.

On a serious note....what would you like to do with your life? Figuring that out is a good place to start ;)

I just heard on the radio that there will soon be a huge need for drone operators. You can use them for aerial photography, killing people, dropping flaming bags of poo on your neighbors lawn...

Well, I DO fancy cosmology and astronomy. ;)

Recently, the whole prospect of traveling across the country (U.S.) has really piqued my interest; site seeing + exploring back roads, meeting new people, doing odd jobs and learning various trades to get me by, learning the country's sub cultures, etc. I might be romanticizing it a bit. It's on my mind all the time, though. It was sort of inspired by 'Into the Wild,' 'A Severe Mercy,' and 'Walden' (books I read not so long ago).

As for the long haul, I really don't know. The things I'm most interested in are sort of niche-ish (if you will) fields. Starting my own computer repair + maintenance business has been a thought, though I'm not convinced it's something I'd want to heavily lean on for years to come.

So finally all those years of playing video games will pay off.

I feel like it's not quite in full swing up here. We only have about an inch of snow, and Christmas is just around the corner. In fact, we still had green grass up until the week of Thanksgiving.

Who stole all our snow? >.>

Is it possible to be great friends but just completely disagree on doctrinal things? I would think so, but I imagine it would be very taxing...

That depends on the maturity of each person. Some people don't deal very well with having their opinion challenged. Then there are people that bicker or disagree fairly often, but their personalities click.

Sooo long answer short: yes, I'd say it's possible, albeit "taxing," maybe. :)
