80-95% of women have experienced some sort of sexual trauma, so in like manner, you can just about agree the same for rape claims to be true.

I find it hard to swallow a man can rape 20+ women since the 70s and nothing was said til now. Did he do it? Idk. Maybe so, but it's funny that some of these women claim Hugh Hefner abused them as well and no one is going after him.

The same principle applied to women who were raping boy under 18. The justice system just didn't know how to go about it and make the charges stick. It was when it decided to hire police women & female detectives to tackle the problem. And we have seen hundreds if not thousands of women (especially teachers) over the last two decades convicted for statutory rape.

I worked as a counselor for abused children and there were quite a few boys who were sexually abused by the mother or female relative. We just don't hear about it on that side of the equation ... but usually on the male side.

I believe it is very wide spread because the root of the problem lies really with the child's upbringing. Many of these children have been abused & traumatized sexually by one or both parents, blood relatives & neighbors and we can see the abnormal behavior play out in adulthood with the finger pointing and accusations. Many of them did not get or seek counseling during the vulnerable years as adolescents.

I definitely don't feel anyone should be condemned without a trial, regardless of the circumstances. I'm glad to know that judges are getting better about throwing out obviously false cases.

I'd like to see some legislation to protect the accused, that says they can't lose employment, or at least not lose pay and benefits based on accusations or an endictment alone.

I believe in France a person who brings a false rape charge would suffer the same penalty & consequence as a would be rapist. It just got weary of the backlog of false charges & allegations.

Countries other than USA exist?
They never told me this at Murica-U.

I honestly heard of a law here in Canada that says that if you stare at someone for longer than 30 seconds, thats considered sexual assault...no idea if that is indeed true or if perhaps my source was wrong lol

My point is that the standard is getting so ridiculous....welcome to the age of paranoia

Goodness.
I'd be on the chain gang by now.

That can get complicated too though...

A church employs a youth pastor who is accused of sexual molestation. The church HAS to pull the pastor out of active ministry for the safety of the children. What to do?

What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? It seems that accusations are all that's necessary these days to ruin lives.
I totally agree. What if I said the president of NBC touched me inappropriately? Would they fire him? What if I got four or five other girls to say the same thing?

I really hate it when people are suspended, fired, or otherwise "disciplined" over an unproven accusation. There are plenty of attention-seekers who would willingly trade someone else's career or social standing for their own 15 minutes of fame.

It wouldn't surprise me a bit if Cosby is guilty of the things he has been accused of, but I don't think he or anyone else should be ruined over accusations that aren't backed by any proof whatsoever.

Do a quick search of California's new consent law for college students. Amazing how muddied and paranoid man gets when he steps outside of Gods 10 commandments.
