Let's see I tell people I'm on about my 4th career path now, but the things I have done:

Right out of college I took a job as a civilian employee of the US Army for the office that buys special operations aviation helicopters (got a security clearance and everything).

I was miserable there so I moved back home and started substitute teaching (oh the horror)

That led to a position as a one on one tutor for students who were from non-English speaking homes.

Then I became a professional globetrotter in the voluntourism industry and travelled around the world.

I spent several years bouncing between those three jobs.

I also spent about 6 weeks working for a local Geothermal system company (heat pumps) who thought that they were starting a very busy busy season but the "start" turned out to be the entire busy season so they really didn't need me.

Then there was the whole property tax mess which led to about a year and a half of walking around measuring all the houses (barns, sheds, and assorted other property improvements) in the county.

And now I'm living overseas learning a foreign language and trying to facilitate a story translation project which should last about another year, then I may have to figure out what I'm going to do with my life (again).

I correct 1099 statements for a financial services company. I also do a bit more than that, but that constitutes 95% of my workday.

Most of the time I don't take pics of my work because I spend my days painting offices, shopping centers, schools, etc. and most modern architecture is rather boring and bland. Every once in a while I get to do something that is more artistic in nature.

I don't usually talk about my career, but I will say just one thing.

Do you realize vampire hunters spend most of their time in a little cubicle doing really boring research?

I am still trying to find my way since the separation and started applying for work...

Before the separation I was a Stay-at-Home-Mom and full time psychology student (I am still pursing a degree)... We had agreed it was in the kids best interest to have someone home all the time to tend to the house and be here for them.

Prior to that adventure I was a photographer and retail management. The photography was much better. :)

My job is to bring merriment and mirth to CC!!!

By the way, none of you have paid me for it yet. Maybe your cheques are in my mailbox right now. I'll go check.

Nope, no cheques from any of you. However I did receive numerous "Cease and Desist" orders from you all demanding that I refrain from posting on CC.

I will have my lawyer look at that orders. His name is Larry "Lackluster" Loser-Smith. He rarely wins cases, but I'm sure he'll get me out of those orders so I can continue my job here on CC.

No, he spelled it like a canadian. They got a lot of their spelling from the british. They can't help it, it's not their fault. Blame Britain.
