Anxiously awaiting the arrival of some serious caffeine. Which might be a sign that it's time to get help.

Averaging 3 1/2 hours of sleep a night for a week straight has finally caught up with me. My head is foggy and floaty and autopilot has kicked in.

I should probably avoid interaction with people due to the likelihood of coming across entirely wrong, while laughing way too much about their confusion.

...which means I'll probably go out of my way to find someone to talk to.

Also, it's beautiful weather out at the lake today. Warm sun but cool breeze, very fall. Took the dogs for a long walk, very wonderful.

My mother-in-law came out to see the kiddos today and she brought me a venti caramel frappucino with not one, but two shots of espresso, and I took a sip and could FEEL the caffeiene coursing through my veins and after a couple more sips I felt mostly alive again and by the time I was done with it I had all this energy and so my MIL watched the kids for me so I could take a walk which ended up being more like an attempt to not drown in the downpour that I got caught in while I was walking through the park but luckily I made it underneath this gazebo type contraption and sat down on a picnic table and after a few minutes this truckload of hunters pulled up and got out and took the table next to mine to spread out a whole bunch of maps and things and by looking at their license plates I discovered they're from Mississipi and one of them started talking to me trying to find out if I knew much about this area and I ended up giving him wrong directions to a place in Wyoming and I started laughing at myself and he said he couldn't decide if I was crazy or cute and I hightailed it out of there because I think it's better not to prove that I'm actually just crazy and then I slipped on some wet leaves and fell on my butt in a puddle and finally made it back home to find one of my children hanging upside down like a bat while the other was stealing a cookie off the counter and then my MIL wanted to talk to me about her love life which caused me to go temporarily deaf and then she left and now I've cleaned the kitchen and the living room and the bathroom and folded two baskets of laundry that have been taunting me from the corner and I danced to Walk Like an Egyptian with my son the way my dad used to dance with me and I think I ate two cookies and drew all over the refrigerator with dry erase marker and now I'm going to cook dinner and I have a feeling that I might just pass out on the floor on my face at any minute.

So that's been fun.

Getting back into photography. Doing a little editing before I head out on travel again. Two out of my three favorite things in life. :D

Almost a week into this chest cold and less than a week until I move to Illinois. I wasn't able to see my church family today due to being sick. It's hitting me that I probably won't be able to see these people for a year or two. The people who I call family are the very people I feel like I'm abandoning. Meh.

Sometimes a pretty smile hides poisonous fangs.

It's sorta freaky. But not in a cool vampire kind of way, more like a venomous snake kind of way.

MissChris... yeah, it sounds like you're high on caffeine alright. You out-did the monologue I did after I ate all that chocolate pudding. o_O

Soooo today's accomplishments:

Church and youth group weren't a disaster despite my being late.

I turned into a blonde.

What I hope to accomplish this week:

Practice on Tuesday and Thursday. Women's conference Friday and Saturday will go well.

Please pray that this goes smoothly.

You might wanna cut down on the caffeine. Avoid coffee at least 4-6 hours before bedtime. Maybe the sleepiness is forcing you to consume more cups of coffee (like the chicken and egg story). But you could start with limiting your consumption. :)

Today shall be a lazy day. I might go out and get a thing or two I need. But other than that...I will be doing zippo. Nada. Noooooothing.

I've been having weird dreams lately.
Last night I had a dream that I was hanging out with my older sister (who had a drug addiction to cocaine I believe), I have no idea I was like seven or eight years old when I last saw her and she wanted to invite me to her house.
So right when we get to her house, there was this man in a suit and a gun that tried to get me to take the drugs but somehow he convinced me to eat a cookie laced with drugs...
Then the next thing you know I was hallucinating inside of my dream and this Jesus statue was skidding on the floor toward me everywhere I went around the house ....with blood coming out of his eyes just like tears.

It was strange.
But other than that. It was a good day, I am exhausted from work and my hands hurt and I have a feeling I'm going to end up going to bed early again.

I've never tried any drugs, but from what I've heard that sounds more like acid than cocaine. Maybe that cookie was laced more than you thought. But... an acid trip in a dream?

In the words of a previous generation - trippy!
