Yep. Scary huh?
Absolutely. Just count yourself lucky you weren't born in India.

The evidence is strong enough to convince ppl that exists. If it wasn't, than there would be no one who believed in Him.
We love our wickedness, darkness, sin, whatever you want to call it. We love it so much that we would rather wallow in it than admit we are accountable to Someone more powerful then ourselves.
At least, that's the way I see it.
I wouldn't say the millions of Hindus are wallowing in sin. They are probably very proud in worshhipping their deity... And will pass it on to millions more in future generations. Looks like they will burn for nothing more than being born in the wrong place or into the wrong family.

Oh...and...More ppl believe in God than don't. Does that mean that atheism lacks evidence, otherwise more ppl would believe it?
Atheism is a "religion" of its own sort. Atheists get persecuted for being atheist. Atheists have their own set of beliefs....the only real difference is that they don't believe in a being more powerful than they are.
oh yah...I wanted to ask...do atheists believe in aliens? Just wondering

Where did matter and energy come from? The watchmaker came from somewhere too.. but you won't apply that to the creator of creation, you'll make a special exception.
Intelligence doesn't come from non intelligence, again where did your God come from?
Here's the thing.Hi Oldhermit, I still need to read that prophecy in Daniel you put me on to, but I will get to it.
One problem I have is that for prophecy to count as direct evidence of God one must first study it. We can’t really expect non-Christians to do this.
So what direct evidence is there for God’s existence? . . .
Where is it? What is it?
That's what all the spiritually blind think.Who knows? We'll probably never know how it all began. I don't pretend to know anything. And I'm not selling anything either... I'm just not buying unprovable religious accounts of any ilk.
The moment I see real evidence on anything is when I'll start taking notice.
Which demonstrates gzusfrk's point. It also says a similar thing about Ganesh in the Vedas... So does that mean if you read the Vedas a lot you'll start to follow Ganesh?
Doesn't work does it.
It's not about evidence. There is no evidence as you define it.ColinCat said:Of course it's possible. So are a million other possible causes too.
There are a million explanations. Anything from a magic man in the sky, to aliens, Or we may simply just be bacteria on some huge creature's food. Every single explanation may sound just as absurd or just as plausible as the next... But they
all have the same amounts of evidence... None.
It's not about evidence.
It's about not wanting to submit to and obey him if he exists.
If you were convinced of God's existence, would you submit to and obey him?
For all their brashness, atheists do not want to be confronted with evidences of God. If they look at the created world and conclude that God must indeed exist, this means they would have to acknowledge God's control over creation and human existence. They would have to acknowledge that man is accountable to God for his conduct and they are not about to surrender what they perceive as control over their own lives. They simply will not acknowledge God no matter what evidence is put before them.
You seem to be under the impression that atheists don't want God to exist. Or they think he exists but pretends he doesn't.
That's not my stance at all.
What would be the consequences of your life if he does exist. How would your knowing he exists impact your life?
It would drastically change everything I know, or at least think I know about the world. It would change my perception on life and reality. It would change everything
How would it change your perception of ethics and morality?
I don't know. I don't spend my time raping and murdering, I'm a pretty nice guy lol. My morals wouldn't change. But my views on the source of them might.
