*sigh* Sometimes I wonder what I did to get on my sister's bad side. I seriously just wanted wanted hello to her. She didn't respond, so I call her name a few times. She replies, "What do you want? I'm trying to watch TV, leave me alone."

Yuuup...ever lived with a person your whole life and you've grown to realize you don't recognize them anymore?

That's happened to me too. It could be she's just upset about something.

You know what I dislike? Ineffective wormers. You do not want to merely anger parasites, you want to finish them off. I have way too many customers who dose incorrectly, or choose the wrong wormer because they don't know what type of parasite they're dealing with. If your cat has a tapeworm, do not purchase roundworm medication. They are not the same thing. And then, for goodness sakes, do not complain about the ineffectiveness of the wormer because your cat STILL has a tapeworm even though you bought medication, paid real money for it and everything, but it didn't work and they don't make anything like they used to.

She's been cranky for days now.
Oh. Well she is in a relationship. Those can definitely cause a lot of problems. I've seen people change, but they sometimes change back. It depends. Sorry she's treating you that way, Lil.

You must be a veterinarian? Yeah the stuff people buy for their pets for worms and fleas and such never seem to work worth a tinker's darn..lol :) At least none of the stuff I've used has. Frontline Plus does work good for fleas, though. Better than Hartz.

Nope, just work at a pet store. People expect me to be a pseudo-vet sometimes though, which is fine with me. Why pay a real vet when you can bug me for free? Sometimes they bring me poop in a bag and ask me what's wrong with the animal that produced it. I don't always know, but sometimes I do, and that saves them money.

Win-win, unless you're the cat with a tapeworm.

I am also of the opinion that a lot of the failures of OTC pet wormers are due to a failure to repeat the dosage. Not all, certainly, but a lot. Wormers do not kill worm eggs. The second dose needs to be timed so that all of the eggs have hatched since the first dose, but the resulting worms have not matured enough to lay eggs of their own. If the pet owner is incorrect about the type of worm, or if they mis-time the second dose, or guess the animal's weight instead of actually weighing it... then what we've got here is a failure to eradicate.

Your powers of deduction and experiential observation are impressive.

I made a caramel maple bacon cake for church dinner today... an older lady came up to my mom and said " I prayed and ask God to let her make that kind of cake today.... God answered my prayer." That sorta kinda made my night :)

Tip of the iceberg, but I don't usually spew it onto the internet. I only made those posts because... haha, never mind why I made those posts. Anyway, thanks. :)

I concur.

But I didn't really need to know about the poop.
Lol, Zero! You should be grateful that I didn't tell the botfly story. ;)

AHHHH! AHHHHHHH! DO NOT TELL THAT STORY! IF IT INVOLVES A BOTFLY, I ALREADY KNOW THAT IT

A) doesn't end well

and

2) will make everyone's skin crawl.

And if you want your skin to crawl, don't make her tell her story. Just Youtube "botfly," then cry yourself to sleep for the next month. Trypophobia indeed. Ick.

Only? God doesn't speak through dreams and visions anymore? Odd... Even in the new testament, even after Jesus ascended, the apostles received dreams and visions. When did this change, sometime around the fourth century or so?
You missed the word 'ultimately.' Think before you post.

Kenthomas: I wasn't sure if anyone would get that or not. :p

Shouryu: The story actually does end well, but you are correct about its disgusting nature, and I will not subject the people of the forum to it. If anyone is truly curious and they don't plan on eating anything for the next week, they can PM me.
