Man...I'm just not good at the whole "opening up" to people. I've found myself metaphorically hiding in a corner. But I guess that's what happens when nothing feels safe. I think my aunt is really trying to help me through things and try and get me to at least open up to her. She's been inviting me to stay with her, hang out with her and stuff. I'm so grateful for her. It just might take a while.

There are lots of things happening in my life right now, and one of those things happens to be changing my life in allot of ways. I'm reading a book, and I feel as if it was written directly to me, like every page has another revelation about my specific life. I'm nearing the end of this book and the more I read, the more I realize WHY I live, and have lived, my life the way I do. This book has shown me the deep and rich truth about grace and forgiveness (Among many other things). Some of these things were/are hard for me to accept after believing the lies of the enemy for SO long. The Lord has been showing me that the lies of the enemy are plentiful and very hurtful in our walk with Him, and that we are often deceived without knowing we are believing a lie. I am seeing more and more lies that I have been believing, and it has been painful. It is very easy to not face these lies or try and hide from them, but through friends and family I have been able to keep fighting the lies. I'm also traveling and work is stressful right now so the past couple weeks have been difficult for me. I'm struggling right now and would appreciate prayer.
Sounds like God is really doing some great works in you Bugs. I love to hear how this book is helping. Praying for you tonight.

That is really great to hear Lil. It takes time to establish a deep relationship, so just relax and let it happen on it's own time. I love that your aunt is taking this time to really get to know you and be there for you. She sounds like a wonderful woman.

It was one of my Kindergarten children's birthday on Wednesday, and as a request since it was his birthday, he asked if I could bring my violin and play for him. I gladly said yes, so today, I brought it in since it's Friday and I could get away with being a bit more laid back.

So I sat down and played my violin, and some girls dressed up in princess dresses, and others, in grown up dresses that were donated, and they danced about my room. They stretched out their hands to the air, and with out embarrassment and with such grace, held themselves like they actually believed they were royalty. They believed they were beautiful, and they fully were engrossed in this moment as they giggled and delighted in the fact they knew they were such an exquisite site.

The rest of my day was actually really hard and I am fighting some annoying headaches at the moment, but in this moment, in this space of time, I could have cried. In one instance, I was so overcome with joy at the site and what I was sharing with these children. At the same time, I asked myself, where did we go wrong? Why do we lose the ability to see ourselves as to what we really are? Children teach me every day. They remind me who we are in Christ.

To me, one of the most beautiful things in all existence is the sound of male and female harmony. There's just something about it that's unlike anything else...

I don't know what's up with me. First I thought you were talking about loving relationships, then about peace between the sexes (no arguing) and then I realised you were talking about musical harmonies. Good stuff!

Not sure what to say to that, so I'll just leave it alone and go listen to some music. ^.^

Haha! I don't think there's anything to say, other than that I must have love on the brain.

No, just half the sights and a third of the sounds.

In local news, I'm baking a lot of sourdough bread today. I needed to replenish my own reserves anyway, and dad is down from Kentucky so I'm sending some home with him. He has some friends up there that, when he gets back from a visit down here, the first thing they say is "where's the bread?"

Big prayer request : My sister in law is on her way to the ER with my oldest (10 year old) nephew. He was in their yard and leaned up against a tree he didn't realize was rotting and a somewhat large limb fell and hit his head. It hit hard enough to break the limb in half. He of course is complaining of a headache and his eyes hurt and he's very sleepy which indicates a concussion. Please pray that that is the extent of his injuries . Thanks to anyone willing to pray.
