Spot the main difference...
(apart from the bikes)

Several... it depends what you mean by or think is 'the main difference'. Their shirt colors, styles, and accessories/badges are different. There's a woman in the second one, and only men in the first. The people in the second photo seem to be a bit heavier set than the first (apart from the lady). I could keep going, but I'll stop there.

Was that a flower on her chest?

In America and other countries there are rules of conduct that men and women must follow regarding behavior towards each other and the opposite sex. I'm wondering WW's country if there are these rules. I want her to report him, but not knowing her culture it could cause her more grief. I'm not sure how they handle things there.

Emm, my prayers are with you. I hope you are safe. I know many other countries don't have respect for women. I pray this isn't the case but if it is I'm sorry. My prayers are with you for safety. I'm glad you defended yourself, I realize in your situation this might not be the easiest thing to do. God Bless you.

I agree with you. In India there was a regulation passed which mandated every company employing women to have a commission for sexual harassment. In case a company does not have this commission and a woman employee is sexually harassed, the company is liable for legal proceedings.

I am not sure what are the rules and regulations governing sexual harassment in workplaces in the country where WW works. I just hope everything works out well.

Unfortunately law cannot impact social consequences. I don't know about em's particular country, but there are countries where any male attention a woman receives is culturally considered her fault for being too sexual or immodest (regardless of the lack of character of the man) and while laws against such things may slowly bring about change it doesn't happen overnight. In such a culture just attracting a married man's attention can be enough to get you labeled as a woman who destroys marriages (how often does Bathsheba get blamed for what happened between her and David even though all she did was take a bath in the privacy of her own home and then get summoned by the king? We have no scriptural info about how she felt about all of it), a slut, or worse. And when people see you that way, that is how you get treated.

Where I am living currently they say the cultural perception is that there are two kinds of girls: bad girls are for fun, and good girls are for marrying. In such a situation, once you are labeled a bad girl it will be very difficult to marry a decent man. (By the way there is also a perception that Christianity forbids marriage here since many foreign Christians are unmarried and people who convert are not as desperate to get married as non-Christians)

Good job Em for standing up for yourself. It takes guts to do that, but it is also the first step to deciding you aren't going to be a victim anymore. Stand your ground and remember, you are not called to be a doormat for everyone to walk over.

So, I went and visited a college campus I was interested in that's 12 and a half hours away from me (assuming you don't stop). It's small, but really nice. The town it's located in is great, too. You can walk to a lot of places, assuming it's not -10 out and completely icy.

For kicks and giggles, here is my video. Be gentle. I don't want to post it in the music forum because I don't really want it to have its own thread. So I force it upon you here. Lyrics are in the description. Sorry not sorry I'm a dork.

My sister decided to go on a cleaning spree while we were gone. The living room looks great.

My room, unfortunately, has just gotten more work created for it.

So,...

Does anyone have any idea how I'm going to work 2 jobs, school myself, volunteer at a local farm, be active in church, do chores at home, and exercise/be healthy,...all at once?!?

Like,..this stuff in and of itself, is not complicated,..Yeah, I can be a server at a restaurant, or, yeah, I know how to clean stalls, and I know how to do homework,...

But I only have so much time, and all of a sudden I have way too much to do. I might explode. I need to get really organized, and plan EVERYTHING out. That is not a strength of mine. Gahh!!!!

I certainly don't want to mess with the guy in the front. O_O He looks like he could take down a bear if he had to.

I think if you just applied yourself and buckled down that you'd have time to do these little things and still have time to be with us here on CC. Back in my day i had to walk 10 miles to school across cracked glass barefoot. And I was home schooled! my first toy was a tumbleweed and a stick. We'd have to cut a potato into 25 different slices just to feed............. wait - hold on a minute...

excuse me mam' - yes you - I told you I wanted cream. What does cream mean to you? Do you know what cream is? CREAM. Real CREAM. Not half and half. Not milk. Cream...... And turn up the AC, I'm freezing in here.

Now, where was I...... yes - to feed our entire family with a single potato. You kids have it soo easy.

No one can be a character like Kenthomas27 can. Lol

For real though,....How much of myself do I apply? Like, maybe a good thick layer? Or an even, thin coat? And where are my buckles??
