I just got home from the grocery store. While I was in a produce alise there was a little girl about 3 in a cart, and her mother was no where in sight. I waited a few minutes next to the plums for a parent to show up. No one did. So I asked her where her mommy was. She wouldn't talk to me, so I took that as a good sign. I finally saw a woman come around a corner from the other side of the produce row, and I pointed at her and asked if that was her mommy. The little girl nodded her head. I was really nervous because I was at a HUGE box store and no one would have missed this kid. So I told her that if anyone tried to take her away, she needed to scream really loud, and I found a worker to tell them what was going on.

HOW DO YOU LEAVE YOUR CHILD ALONE IN A HUGE STORE??

I don't know what it is with creepy things happening. At least the last few I could blame on the cats, but the one today...

After work, I went to the grocery store. When I pulled into my street, I saw a black car with fairly tinted windows parked on the curb right before our driveway, still turned on. It had one of those things on the front by the mirror that made it look like it might be a cop, not sure what it's called, like an extra mirror type thing or a speed tracker? I have no idea. As I pulled into the driveway I tried to see who it was inside, thinking maybe it was one of my roommates friends, but it couldn't have been. As I pushed the button for the garage door to go up and I start pulling into the garage, from my rearview mirror I could see the car driving off.

I don't remember his license plate. Maybe it was an undercover cop watching a different house and he didn't want me to be uncomfortable with him sitting there while I was home. I really have no idea. If it happens again, I'm going to try and take a picture and/or call the cops.

Zeroturbulence, yeah, that's what it looked like! Okay I feel better now. At least I'm hoping he wasn't watching MY house, I just feel better knowing it was probably a cop.

There are certain places in town where, mostly because the terrain provides partial cover or because it's close to a speed zone border, cops love to sit there to catch speeders. I'd LOVE to have one of those spots be my driveway. I'd never have to worry about burglars at all. :D

So so so frustrated, and quickly running out of patience. It takes allot for me to lose my patience, and I'm the closest I've been in a LONG time.

I did want to add one thing to this, Arwen. Even if nobody other than the persecutors knew what the tormented went through for the cause of Christ, it still wouldn't be in vain. Jesus sees every thing we give up for Him, whether it's friendships, a better job, unscarred skin, a relationship that isn't quite right, a comfortable life, or anything else that may come our way. He appreciates more than we can imagine; I truly believe that. Like you said, in suffering and pain, He is there :').
Its weird how sometimes, you needed to hear things, and you had no idea that you needed to hear them.
Just another example of how much I am blessed by CC, and how I know that it is a blessing to others.

Love you guys <3 :)

I hit him. I hit good and I hit him hard. I had to run to the office today and that guy tried to grab be again strike 5. I kneed him right where it hurts is that a word? (kneed?) and I hit him and he was curled up on the floor yelling in pain. My supervisor came in and found him and reported me to HR. I might lose my job. I don't care. I'll hit him again and harder if I can do it all over.

Stupid people who shouldn't own pets let alone have children do things like that. I know that sounds harsh but things like this make me really mad. Im not a perfect parent but that behavior is selfish. Why not push the cart and take the child with you? I'm paranoid about public places. My son and daughter have both taken off and I freaked. When they were toddlers they had baby harnesses with leashes. I think I've watched to many Lifetime movies.

All I can say is, You Go Girl!!
You're a tough cookie, and worth way more than being treated that way. Daughters of Kings should be treated as such.

I commend you for your bravery, Em!! He certainly deserved it! I'll pray that HR sees things your way. Did you ever report him to them before? If so, then you have a strong case of sexual harassment there. God bless you and its good to hear from you! :)

Emily, why on earth would they report you to HR for protecting yourself? That's fugged up! I pray you don't lose your job over this. Good on you, my dear sister. It's great to hear from you!

To answer the questions- no I didn't report him before. Why? Because the stigma associated with it. I get picked on all the time for being a virgin BUT if I report this and people hear about it around me they'll look at me like a piece of trash i know because it happens all the time also i was trying to give him a chance he has a wife and a child i didnt want to make him lose his job when he has to support them and my family will never allow me to report it.

But if he did wrong, and he did, it's not your job to protect him. There are consequences for inappropriate actions. He's not innocent and you know that. But I understand you're under great pressure. I too receive weird looks when people find out I'm a virgin (but that's none of their business anyway and it's not like I shout it from the rooftops). I'll be praying for you, Emily.

Just tell them exactly what you said in this post if/when they ask you why you never reported him and hopefully they will see this as good enough reason for not reporting him. I have a feeling you won't lose your job because they won't want to chance having a harassment lawsuit against them. Its difficult for companies to win harassment suits.

Just have faith that no matter what happens it will be for the best because nothing can happen outside of God's will.

WW - Be my guess the poor man was laying on the floor in a fetal position and moaning looking for his lost contact lens. Your description of what happened kinda made me go down on one knee myself.
I think kneed is an ok word btw. It takes the fun out of bread makin tho.

Emily it should not be a problem. Just explain to the HR exactly what you told us. We will pray for you. Hopefully they will see that you are not at fault. Hang in there girl. We are praying for you!

I love you and I feel for you.

But I am angry.

I know I spoke to you about this before and requested you to do that many, many times, but you didn't report this man.

When you have laws and measures put in place to protect yourself and you're not doing it -I don't get that thinking behind it.

What does it matter if you're a virgin? If you bring about culture, being Indian origin, you would know that being a virgin is considered morally upright.

And that is immaterial.

Whether you are, or not, no one has the right to try to force themselves upon you.

So what if this man has a family?

This man is possibly a psycho. The BTK killer had a wife, and so did the Ether man.
By not reporting or bringing these things out in light, you might be letting a psychologically impaired rapist get away scot free.
Who else has he possibly tried to harm? Think about that!

And even if you lose this job, big deal. If your workplace is so hazardous, get up and leave.

I am sorry I am being harsh, but I hope I am. You keep asking us to pray for you, but you consider our input and concern of so little value, that you just brush it aside?

Not only is it hurtful, it's confusing. I don't understand what's happening in your life Emily, but I don't see how God has abandoned you and you can't overcome it.

All I get is secondhand information, from some other members, praying for you , asking more prayer for you and the back story behind all of it is a hodgepodge mess.
Someone told me your dad owns this company, somewhere else, you say you aren't in touch with your dad, your family wants you to be sexually harassed?

You intend to escape, but you're trapped. Contacting you is through someone else, but you come online a few hours later.
Just what is going on :(

I am upset. I am angry and I feel my emotions have been taken for a ride.

I love you so much as a sister in Christ.

Sorry.

I hope things work out in the end and God takes care of you. Forgive me , but please understand where I am coming from.

My spirit is jumping for joy seeing you connected here! Tintin is right. Your first priority is your protection than that troublemaker guy. Let go and let God. If what you've done pleases God, will it not be accepted by God? You did not only encourage me, but you did right, sistah! That's what I called courage with honor. Go soulsistah! I can log-out now.... looking forward hearing more from you! xoxo.:D hugs and kisses!
