Uhm. I don't think ive seen anyone wearing flare jeans here in the Philippines anymore. Most of them are skinny jeans.

What then shall I do? take off my and put it in the closet, wait until the premises is clear of male species then put it back on. I have a genetically curvaceous figure so there really is no choice for me. Anything I wear shows junk in the trunk. You cant really call me a tempter sooo.

"take off my ### and put it in the closet", that there pretty much shows how much you are following jesus... either you fell back 2 years ago or you really arent saved... If that is in your heart then you are really not that pure of heart.

ok... I was actually quoting Ps Justin Cox when he talks about men who are so easily tempted by a woman's behind. He say's "women cant just take of their buttocks and put it in the closet". The reason why he said this was to remind a man that lust and temptation cannot be blamed on a woman but the man himself, he should take full responsibility for any imagination that appears on his mind.

And I was trying to say that wearing skinny jeans and being curvy at the same time cant give others the excuse to label me as a tempter. You know what I'm saying? I can't do much about it.

If you don't really get me on Pastor Justin Cox, then check him out on youtube. He does some pretty mint sermons.
 
1 Tim 2:9 is very clear! A girl who is immodest in heart and dress is one of the greatest sins for a girl. Why would a girl think immodesty is OK? Immodesty causes all so many problems for girls and guys. As Scripture says immodest women should be ashamed!
 
rtfgirl: Skinny jeans are the SAME thing as flare jeans. The only things thats different is the bottom around the ankle. and that's not wrong. I don't see anything wrong with skinny jeans.

oh c'mon skinny jeans? immodest? you have got to be kidding me. Not one inch of skin is showing when you wear skinny jeans.
 
Where I live, these jeans are worn for one purpose only: to show it off. To draw lust & gazes.

Having trouble with guys on here that say they don't look good...... that's the only reason girls wear them!

How can those that wear them say they're not being "sinful"? That's like saying yoga pants aren't sinful!
 
I don't think they are bad really. I don't even notice the difference at times.

That being said, I tried some on once.

I don't think they are bad...unless you wear them for the wrong intentions..personally I don't like wearing them :D
 
As Christians not only are we suppose to keep ourselves from stumbling, but others from doing so as well. I feel something like that could cause guys in general to lust after a woman who wore them. I was the youngest but if I had a sister I would be hesitant of her wearing anything like that simply because it can cause her brothers of Christ to stumble. Same goes for guys in this situation. Your clothing reflects who you are.
 
Can i ask why it's ok for girls to wear flare jeans but not skinny? Like i'm just wondering why all the controversy. They're basically the same. The ankle part is just different...
 
If your father says no, it is no. He is the leader of the household according to God's word! He is your authority until marriage! :) Other than that, skinny jeans are very provocative. I personally do not wear pants because they do accentuate your curves and can cause temptation for men. But skinny jeans? They are much too revealing for my standards. I'd pray about it. Talk to your parents. God bless :)
